Gaming laptops can be expensive as shrinking down powerful components without sacrificing much of the performance drives up the cost. However, we spotted this MSI Stealth 18 AI Studio gaming laptop on sale with a 12% cut from its price. Originally, it had a price tag of $3,049.99, but right now you can get it for $2,680.28, saving $369.71.
We’ve also thoroughly tested this laptop for our MSI Stealth 18 AI Studio review, and it didn’t disappoint in the least. Here is how it performed.

MSI Stealth 18 AI performance
This laptop has an RTX 4080 with an Intel Core Ultra 9 185H. In addition, it has an 18″ display with a mini LED panel and a 3840×2400 resolution with a 120Hz display. So, it has everything you’ll need for a smooth gaming experience, and we decided to test it out.
Gaming performance
The RTX 4080 managed to run Cyberpunk 2077 with 36 and 31 at ultra pure rasterization in hybrid and discrete modes, respectively. While that isn’t ideal, enabling DLSS and Frame Generation bumped the FPS up to 67 and 84 FPS, which is great considering the resolution and the size of the screen.
So, while we needed to leverage DLSS and FG in this title at max settings, it should be able to easily churn out more FPS in titles that aren’t as graphically demanding.
Synthetic performance
We ran Fire Strike Ultra, Time Spy Extreme, and Port Royal on hybrid, discrete, and AI discrete modes. In Fire Strike Ultra, we got 11,260 points with hybrid, 11,264 points with discrete, and 9,577 points with AI discrete.
In Time Spy Extreme, which uses DX12, we got 8,407 points with the hybrid mode, 8,338 points with the discrete mode, and 7,125 points with the AI discrete mode. Lastly, in Port Royal, which gauges real-time ray tracing, this laptop managed 11,533, 11,587, and 9,592 points in the three mentioned modes.
So, this gaming laptop is more than capable of handling professional workflows and intense gaming sessions.
Who’s this deal for?
This deal is perfect for those who want a powerful machine but with portability. This laptop has excellent hardware and shouldn’t pose any issues. It has a 99.9 Whr Battery, which should be more than enough for a couple of hours, if you’re not gaming, and wouldn’t have to worry about the battery running out if you’re on the move.
