Gigabyte RTX 5050 OC 8GB graphics card hits lowest price ever on Amazon with recent deal
Table of Contents
We’ve spotted this overclocked Gigabyte RTX 5050 graphics card at its all-time-lowest price over at Amazon, with a decent 11% discount dropping it down from $269.99 to $239.99. This is the entry-level graphics card of Nvidia’s 50-series, and a good option for those looking for decent FHD gaming performance and some of the latest features, like multi-frame generation, without breaking the bank. It’s an OC model, which gives you a bit more punching power than your typical RTX 5050 card, boasts a robust cooling solution, and a simple, but great-looking design that would look excellent in more stealthy builds. Coming in at just under the RTX 5050’s MSRP of $249, we think if you’re sticking to a budget and want a more recently released graphics card, this isn’t a bad shout at its current price.

Key features of this GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 5050 OC 8G Graphics Card
Nvidia Blackwell architecture and 8GB of VRAM
This card is built on Nvidia’s new Blackwell architecture, which means you’ve got 4th-gen ray tracing cores, 5th-gen tensor cores, and new features like multi-frame generation upscaling. The RTX 5050 is a little different from the rest of the 50-series lineup, however, as it has GDDR6 memory instead of GDDR7; however, it’s still a good option for 1080p gaming on a budget.
Windforce cooling
You’ve got Gigabyte’s Windforce cooling system here, which includes three Hawk Fans that spin in alternate directions to both optimize airflow and reduce turbulence. With its 3D active fan feature, these can turn off completely when not under heavy loads, allowing for silent operation for lighter usage. On top of that, there’s an extended heat sink, copper composite heat pipes, and server-grade thermal gel, which all help whisk away heat and keep this card running at its best.
Overclocked performance
This card has a boost core clock of around 2632MHz out of the box, which means you can get a bit more extra performance without any need for manual tuning. Thanks to the card’s design and robust cooling solution, you can push this further via your preferred overclocking software.

Things to consider
The RTX 5060 is really the thing to consider here, as it boasts much better FHD and QHD performance than the 5050, and has better GDDR7 VRAM, too. The MSRP isn’t much higher than the 5050, either, and we’d say it’s worth the extra spend to open up your option a bit more. You’ll also want to explore some of the RX 9060 XT options, too, which offer excellent value for the performance you can get with them.
