What we like about the Gigabyte Aero X16
The big win here is that at its current price, this is one of the most affordable RTX 5070 gaming laptops we’ve come across. The good thing is that this laptop doesn’t scale back too much to keep overall costs down, and you can see that with its impressive screen. It features an IPS 2560 x 1600, 16-inch, 165Hz display with a decent 400 nits of brightness, which, granted, may not be as impressive as some of the higher-end RTX 5070 options from the likes of ASUS ROG, for instance, but is more than enough to make the most out of the GPU.
In terms of performance, generally speaking, the RTX 5070 laptop GPU is a good option for 1080p and 1440p at high settings and frame rates, but it’s going to be one that you’ll want to make use of DLSS upscaling and MFG to really experience it at its best.
