Gaming performance

We ran a couple of games at 4K without AI upscaling to gauge its native performance and this graphics card didn’t disappoint. In Cyberpunk 2077, we got 70 FPS while in Doom Eternal, it managed 277 FPS. In other titles like Shadow of the Tomb Raider and Far Cry 6, it churned out 147 and 121 FPS, respectively.

So, managing solid FPS natively at 4K isn’t an issue for this GPU and what makes it even better is that it costs less than the flagship alternatives from Nvidia, whether you look at the RTX 40 or 50 series.

Synthetic performance

Synthetic performance is used to test how a GPU will perform in specific scenarios and with specific workloads. To showcase this, we’ll use the results of Fire Strike Ultra, Time Spy Extreme, and Port Royal.

Fire Strike Ultra is less demanding than Time Spy Extreme as it uses DirectX11 and in this test, this GPU churned out 20,410 points. In Time Spy Extreme, we got 14,320 and in Port Royal, which tests real-time ray tracing, the RX 7900 XTX delivered 15,315 points. This is solid output from this GPU and it should keep your system capable of handling modern AAA titles with ease.
