Skytech Gaming has a pretty vast library of prebuilt gaming PCs, and many of them are on sale well before Labor Day sales. What this means is that if you are looking to upgrade your gaming PC or grab a new one, now is the best time to do so for less. We spotted the Skytech Azure 3, which has a humble 6% price cut on it.

With this discount, this PC is available for $1,649.99 instead of the original price of $1,749.99. What makes it such an appealing option is that it sports the Ryzen 7 9700X and the RTX 5060 Ti, 16GB variant. So, these components put this PC in the solid mid-range category.

Skytech Gaming Azure 3 (9700X, 5060 Ti)

Ryzen 7 9700X 3.8 GHz (5.5GHz Turbo), NVIDIA RTX 5060 Ti 16GB, 2TB Gen4 NVMe SSD, 32GB DDR5 RAM 5200 RGB, 850W Gold ATX 3 PSU, 360mm ARGB AIO, Wi-Fi, Win 11

What is in this gaming PC?

Ryzen 7 9700X

The Ryzen 7 9700X is a great mid-range PC with excellent value for money. It is strong enough to be paired with high-end GPUs, while its productivity is nothing to scoff at either. When we tested this processor for our 9700X review, its output thoroughly surprised us, but at that time, it was limited to 65W. Now, you can use it with a 105W TDP, meaning even better performance.

Coupled with the RTX 4070 Ti Super, this CPU managed 240 and 325 FPS in graphically demanding titles like Days Gone and Cyberpunk 2077, respectively, at 1080p low settings. Besides that, its single- and multi-core scores were much better compared to its predecessor as well. We got 856 and 8,199 points in the CPU-Z test while the 7700X got 772 and 7,983 points. So, this is a decent upgrade in performance, and with this processor powering this gaming PC, you should have no trouble handling demanding tasks.

RTX 5060 Ti

Skytech Gaming hasn’t made clear which variant of the RTX 5060 Ti will be included in this gaming PC, but we have reviewed the ASUS Prime RTX 5060 Ti OC. While you may not get an OC variant, overclocking the GPU should be able to get the same or close to the same results, more or less, as these GPUs have the same processor.

Deals season is here folks, and with it comes a plethora of eye-catching price cuts on some of the industry's most popular tech. Below are some of the best deals you can find right now.

We paired this GPU with the Ryzen 7 9800X3D, and it delivered excellent gaming performance at 1080p and 1440p, while the 4K performance wasn’t consistent. For example, we got 121, 92, and 58 FPS at 1080p, 1440p, and 4K in AC: Mirage, while in F1 24 it churned out 93, 69, and 39 FPS in the same resolutions. That being said, it did manage to cross the 50 FPS mark in many titles at 4K, but you’ll need to use DLSS 4 for a better output at 4K.

RAM, storage, and other components

With this gaming PC, you should have no issues when it comes to efficiency and storage, as it comes armed with a 2TB NVMe SSD and 32GB of DDR5 RAM running at 5,200 MHz. Besides that, it has an 850W gold-rated power supply unit, which is more than enough to power the complete system while leaving good overhead for upgrades and overclocking. The 360mm AIO CPU cooler is a great addition, as it will ensure the 9700X doesn’t overheat despite its energy efficiency.

Who’s this deal for?

This gaming PC sports next-gen features that should deliver a smooth, seamless, and stable gaming and working experience regardless of the title or task at hand. For well under $2000, we think this gaming PC is worth serious consideration as you’re getting a 16GB GPU which also has DLSS 4 and MFG to greatly enhance its gaming output.

To complement it, the 9700X is capable of handling intense workflows like video editing, rendering, and more. So, if your budget allows you to spend a little more than $1,500, we recommend you seriously check out this PC.
