Skytech King 95 Gaming PC Desktop

Ryzen 7 9800X3D 4.7 GHz (5.2 GHz Turbo Boost), NVIDIA RTX 5070 12GB GDDR7, 1TB Gen4 SSD, 32GB DDR5 RAM 6000 RGB, 850W Gold PSU, 360mm ARGB AIO, Wi-Fi, Win 11 Home

Why we like this

This gaming PC features excellent hardware, and we’ll explore each component to see how it contributes to the overall build.

  • RTX 5070: We’ve reviewed the ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 5070 OC, and while the output might not be the same as the one you get with this gaming PC, we’ll showcase it so you have an idea of what to expect. We paired it with the Ryzen 7 9800X3D and ran a handful of games at various resolutions.

In F1 24, we got 52 FPS at 4K, 95 FPS at 1440p, and 136 FPS at 1080p. In another graphically demanding title, Cyberpunk 2077, we got 48, 108, and 169 FPS in the same three resolutions. So, this shows that the 5070 is better suited for 1440p gaming. You can push it to run games at 4K, but you will have to leverage DLSS 4 and MFG to get playable frame rates.
  • Ryzen 7 9800X3D: In our 9800X3D review, we paired it with the RTX 4070 Ti and ran CS2 and Cyberpunk 2077 as well as some benchmarking software. We got 604 FPS in CS2 and 334 FPS in 9800X3D, and with PBO enabled, the FPS in CS2 jumped to 669. Since the RTX 5070 has better performance than the 4070 Ti, you should see even better FPS. In addition, this PC features a 360mm AIO CPU cooler, which should keep it cool even with PBO turned on.
  • 32GB DDR5 RAM: This gaming PC features 32GB of DDR5 RAM running at 6,000 MHz. This should be more than enough to provide a smooth gaming and working experience, and if you feel like more RAM would be better, you can always add more later on.
  • 850W PSU: To ensure that the complete system is adequately powered, the Skytech King 95 gaming PC features an 850W gold-rated power supply unit. The RTX 5070 and 9800X3D draw 250W and 120W, respectively. This totals 370W of power, but during real-world usage, the power draw can be more, so even if the combined TPD is 400W or 450W, it will still leave you with 450W or 400W of overhead for other components and overclocking.
  • Excellent warranty: Skytech Gaming offers a 1-year warranty, which covers parts or repairs. You also get lifetime tech support and a 30-day return/replacement.

Should you get the Skytech King 95 gaming PC?

If you want a gaming PC that can deliver excellent performance at 1440p, this is an excellent option to consider. The RTX 5070 is better suited for 2K, but you can push 2K by leveraging DLSS 4 and MFG. On the other hand, the 9800X3D is one of the world’s best processors for gaming, and even the RTX 5090 couldn’t bottleneck it at 1080p.

So, if later in the years you wanted to pair it with a stronger GPU, you can simply replace the RTX 5070 and call it a day. Besides that, it also has excellent hardware, plenty of storage, and an option to expand it further, truly delivering a well-rounded package. This gaming PC deal is worth considering as it costs the same as an RTX 5090 according to its MSRP but you don’t need anything else other than peripherals to get started.
