So, if you were looking to build a new gaming PC and were waiting for GPU prices to fall (since that is the most expensive component in a PC), then now’s the perfect time. There are plenty of great GPU deals catering to individuals with varying budgets, and we’ve compiled some of the best graphics card deals right here so you can find the right one for you, whether that is the RX 9060 or the RTX 5090.

ASUS ROG Astral RTX 5080 OC

We’ll start with the second most powerful GPU in the RTX 50-series lineup, the RTX 5080. This is the ROG Atral variant of the RTX 5080, which comes with factory-overclocked settings. We’ve tested and reviewed this GPU in-house, and its performance was just incredible, to say the least.

Paired with the Ryzen 7 9800X3D, it delivered excellent frames in all the titles we ran at native 4K. In Doom Eternal, we got 191 FPS at 4K with ray tracing enabled, while in Cyberpunk 2077, we got 75 and 36 FPS without and with ray tracing, respectively. Even if the FPS tanked at native 4K, by leveraging DLSS 4 (Performance mode) and MFG (4X), we saw the FPS shot up to 189 FPS, but the best part is that the ray tracing was turned to overdrive, making it even more impressive.

XFX Swift RX 9060 XT OC

This is one of the more entry-level offerings from the Radeon 9000 lineup from AMD, and it features 16GB of GDDR6 VRAM. Don’t let that put you off, though, as RDNA 4 architecture has worked wonders for these cards. It has a boost clock speed of up to 3,320 MHz, which is amazing, but what really caught our attention was that, despite being a budget GPU, it had excellent performance.

There are various reviews available online, and while it has great output at 1080p and 1440p, we saw that it could even push 4K in some titles and sat in the 50 FPS range. What this means is that with a bit of help from FSR 4, you can easily have higher figures for smoother gameplay. As part of the early Prime Day deal, this GPU’s price has been slashed by 12%, dropping it to $379.99, making it the second most affordable card on the list.

ZOTAC RTX 5060 Ti 16GB Twin Edge OC

The direct competition of the GPU above is the RTX 5060 Ti, and this is a dual-fan ZOTAC variant with a 2,602MHz boost clock speed. This has a 12% price cut on it right now, and you can grab it for $429.99, which, according to Amazon, is the lowest price for it in 30 days.

We’ve reviewed the ASUS Prime RTX 5060 Ti OC, which has a 2.65 MHz boost clock, so the output should be similar between the two. We’ll showcase the performance benchmarks to give you an idea. This graphics card delivered 123, 78, and 34 FPS in Cyberpunk 2077 at 1080p, 1440p, and 4K.

In F1 24, we got 93 FPS at 1080p, 69 FPS at 1440p, and 39 FPS at 4K. So, running games at 4K isn’t its strongest suit, but that isn’t surprising given its position in the performance hierarchy. However, the game changer is DLSS 4, which enabled it to run Cyberpunk 2077 with ray tracing overdrive at 89 FPS. This technology is the saving grace for the budget RTX 50-series GPUs.

XFX Swift RX 9070 XT

This GPU made huge waves when it dropped because it had exceptional performance, and its price tag didn’t burn a hole in your pocket. Many consider it to be the best value GPU you can buy right now. It has a 13% discount right now on Amazon, and you can get your hands on it for $739.99.

The RDNA 4 architecture helped this card compete and outperform the competition in ray tracing and AI workloads, but also enabled it to push native 4K gaming without any issues. We reviewed the ASUS Prime RX 9070 XT OC, and both of these GPUs share the same boost clock speed of 2,970 MHz.

During our testing, this graphics card delivered 75 FPS in F1 24, 61 FPS in Cyberpunk 2077, 101 FPS in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, and 110 FPS in CS2 at 4K. It can even achieve 68 FPS in Cyberpunk 2077 at 4K with ray tracing set to overdrive, thanks to the help of FSR 4, which is truly impressive.

MSI RTX 5060 8G Trio OC

The MSI RTX 5060 Trio OC (8 GB) is the most pocket-friendly GPU on this list, and that isn’t surprising since it only has 8GB of GDDR7 VRAM. While this might be a deal breaker for some, for low-resolution gaming, this should be more than enough, but its limitations will come out during non-gaming workloads since it has DLSS 4 and MFG to ask for help during gaming.

This card is on sale for $329 and is perfect for anyone looking to build a budget gaming PC for gaming at 1080p and 1440p. Various online reviews showcase its performance at 1080p and even 1440p, but unsurprisingly, the performance takes a significant hit at 4K. That being said, in less demanding titles like CS2, you may be able to push 4K and achieve a consistent experience by leveraging AI upscaling technologies.

MSI Gaming RTX 5090 SUPRIM SOC

We saved the best for last, as it is the best graphics card on the market right now, the RTX 5090. There is no GPU right now that can compete with its gaming performance and productivity, and it is truly in a league of its own. This card has a very high price tag, but thanks to the pre-Prime Day price cuts, it has been reduced to $2,779.99 from $3,229.99, which is a significant amount of money saved.

If you’re wondering how it’ll perform, we’ve got the complete benchmarks since we’ve put the MSI RTX 5090 Suprim SOC through its paces. It was not surprising to see it absolutely demolish 4K gaming at native settings, and we achieved 110, 135, and 190 FPS in some of the most demanding titles, such as Cyberpunk 2077, F1 24, and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.

With DLSS 4 and MFG, we saw it churn out 293 FPS in Cyberpunk 2077 at 4K with ray tracing set to overdrive. The closest GPU to it was the RTX 5080 with 183 FPS, meaning it is 45% faster than the second-best GPU. Similar performance was seen during synthetic testing, as no other GPU could touch its performance in the 3DMark suite, Geekbench 6 test, and Blender.
