High-end LG 39-inch, OLED, 240Hz gaming monitor just a few dollars away from its lowest ever price on Amazon
Table of Contents
One of LG’s top OLED gaming monitors is only a few dollars shy of its lowest ever price on Amazon, thanks to an early Prime Big Deal Days discount. Right now, you can grab this 39-inch LG Ultragear OLED monitor for a massive 44% off its list price, bringing it down from $1,599.99 to $899.99. Considering this has a 240Hz refresh rate, super low response time, and even built-in access to various streaming platforms, we think it’s a winner of a deal in our eyes.

What we like about this LG Ultragear gaming monitor
OLED display
OLED gaming monitors are some of the very best you can get, and they provide exceptional color and contrast, making for incredibly life-like picture quality. They’re often not the brightest monitors compared to more traditionally backlit models, but they are excellent in lower light environments, especially if you’re after a more immersive experience. The good news is that this monitor actually has a 1300-nit peak brightness, which makes it certainly one of the brightest options on the market.
240Hz refresh rate with adaptive sync technology
240Hz is really the best refresh rate to have without paying for something completely overkill, especially at 3440×1440 resolution. This monitor should be able to handle up to 240fps with no problem, but it’s also got FreeSync Premium to help if you run into incidents that could cause screen tearing. This is a must-have, especially if you’re going to be gaming at higher fps or competitively.
800R Curve
The closer the number to zero, the more aggressive the curve, so this monitor is very much all about immersion. This is the type of setup you’ll want if you really want to ‘step into the world’ you’re gaming in, and it’s incredible for a wide range of different types of games. It’s also said to be easier on the eyes, but we’ll let you test that theory yourself.
OLED protection
What’s great to see here is that this monitor features a 2-year OLED protection warranty, meaning that you can buy with confidence knowing that if there are any issues with the panel, you’re covered.
Built-in access to streaming platforms
Much like Samsung’s smart monitors, you can essentially treat this LG display like a TV and watch Netflix, Prime Video, and more directly through the monitor itself. No need to connect it to a console or PC, just use webOS24 to find what you need, and you’re all good.

Who’s this deal for?
Coming in at $899.99, this is a very good price for a monitor of this caliber, and it’s one that we’d say should only really be paired with similarly higher-end PC setups. If you have a gaming PC that’s capable of 1440p at higher fps with ray tracing enabled, that’s the type of setup that this monitor will be able to make the most of. A good option could be an RX 9070 XT, RTX 5070 Ti, or even RTX 5080 build, for example.
It’s also a good time to buy it at just shy of its lowest price ever, as you can see from the graph above (which has yet to register the current price, mind you). If you’re going. Take a look below at some of the other early Prime Big Deal Days offers for even more options.
