You’ve got 8 cores, 16 threads, a very high boost clock of 5.2GHz, and a massive L3 cache of 96MB. It’s the cache that makes this unique, and gives it its X3D name. The L3 cache is essentially stacked, which increases the size drastically compared to most other CPUs, which are often around 32MB. This allows for data to be accessed far quicker than your average processor, which in turn reduces frame latency. A brilliant processor to have in any high-end build.
