There’s a great offer going on a Skytech gaming PC on Amazon that we think is well worth checking out. This Skytech RTX 5080 gaming PC is down $400, dropping its price from $2,799.99 to $2,399.99. In terms of pricing, that’s on the lower end of what you’d expect to pay for a prebuilt RTX 5080 PC, but where it becomes a winning deal is the fact that it packs a higher-end Ryzen X3D processor, which is arguably one of the best gaming CPUs you can buy right now.

What we like about this Skytech Gaming Azure 3 Plus PC

Excellent graphics card for 4K gaming

For 4K gaming, the RTX 5080 is a great option to go for that doesn’t have the massive price tag of the RTX 5090, but still delivers exceptional performance. It’s built on Nvidia’s Blackwell Architecture, so you’ve got DLSS and MFG at your disposal to help increase fps at high resolutions, and ensure it’s looking as smooth as possible when doing so. To give you an idea of performance, in our review of the 5080 FE, it was able to get 72fps at 4K and 35fps with Ray Tracing on pure rasterization, ultra settings with Cyberpunk 2077. That’s seriously impressive, given how demanding that game is, and a significant jump up from the likes of the RTX 5070 Ti. When we throw DLSS and MFG into the mix, we can see big improvements. Take Shadow of the Tomb Raider, for example, which shot up from 91fps at 4K with ray tracing to 181fps at 4K with ray tracing and DLSS performance.

Amazing gaming CPU, one of AMD’s best

This PC has the one and only Ryzen 7 9800X3D, which is a very common processor to have paired with the RTX 5080. It’s arguably one of the most popular CPUs for gaming builds right now, and it’s easy to see why, given its specs and features. You’ve got 8 cores, 16 threads, a very high boost clock of 5.2GHz, and a massive L3 cache of 96MB. It’s the cache that makes this unique, and gives it its X3D name. The L3 cache is essentially stacked, which increases the size drastically compared to most other CPUs, which are often around 32MB. This allows for data to be accessed far quicker than your average processor, which in turn reduces frame latency. A brilliant processor to have in any high-end build.

Loads of RAM

You’ve got 32GB of DDR5 RAM here, which is RGB and has speeds of 5200Mhz. That’s more than enough for gaming, having multiple tabs and applications going, and much more.

Stylish PC case

Tempered glass panels, clean lines, and customizable aRGB on the fans, cooler, and RAM make this a great-looking addition to any setup.

Who’s this deal for?

If you’re looking for an RTX 5080 gaming PC for a great price, this is an excellent option to go for. Typically, you’re looking at around $2500 to $2700 for a build with these kinds of components, so it’s a decent saving that could easily go towards a high-end 4K monitor, which we’d advise getting if you’re looking to get the most out of this machine. We’d say that if you’re looking for something more capable for productivity and content creation, you may be better off looking for Intel Core Ultra variations, which have higher core and thread counts than most X3D models, and will be better suited for multi-core workloads.
