If you’re looking for a machine that combines the power of a gaming laptop with the look and feel of a business laptop, this is the deal for you.

These are great for those of us, myself included, who don’t fancy whipping out a laptop that blasts RGB all over the place in public, and looks more like a battle command station than something I have to answer emails on…but I digress.

Not too shabby considering its ultra thin, has a powerful RTX 4070 GPU, 64GB of RAM, and a substantial 1TB SSD, alongside a 240hz, QHD display. What we like about this laptop
- Solid GPU: The RTX 4070 mobile is a good mid-range graphics card that’s around the same level of the mobile RTX 3080. It can handle 1080 at higher fps with no problem, but since it’s a mid-range card, it’s common to see it paired with higher resolution screens, such as this one. It performs well at 1440p though, and especially so if you use DLSS 3 and frame generation. It’s also commonly used in lighter weight laptops, so it’s no surprise to see it here with this MSI Stealth option.
- Decent CPU: This laptop has an Intel Core Ultra 9-185H, which came out in December 2023. It has 16 cores and 22 threads and can run at up to 5.1 GHz. It also features an integrated AI Boost NPU for hardware AI workload acceleration. That’s essentially means that this CPU can handle AI tasks better than traditional CPUs without this feature – which comes in handy if you’re frequently using it.
- Stunning display: You’ve got a QHD, 240hz display here, which is ideal for practically any usage. If you enjoy fast-paced gaming at high fps, this is great for you, but it’s also good if you prefer more visually detailed, immersive titles too.
- Loads of storage and RAM: With an ample 1TB SSD, you should be sorted for storage for sometime to come, and its RAM is the latest version, DDR5, which has about double the performance improvement over DDR4, ensuring your system is running smoothly.

Who’s this deal for?
This is an excellent laptop for those who want to game on the go, but aren’t too hot on the aesthetic of gaming laptop. In terms of what you’re getting inside, it’s bang in the middle when it comes to performance and I think for the cash, you’re getting a lot of bang for your buck. This laptop will be at its best when gaming in 1440p with DLSS and frame generation switched on to assist with getting high frame rates, which suits a wide range of different game types.
As always, make sure you’re someone who will be taking this on the go with you, as there are plenty of RTX 4070 PCs that will outperform this laptop, and even come in a little cheaper in some cases – especially in the Spring Sales.
