What we like about this laptop
- Solid GPU: The RTX 4070 mobile is a good mid-range graphics card that’s around the same level of the mobile RTX 3080. It can handle 1080 at higher fps with no problem, but since it’s a mid-range card, it’s common to see it paired with higher resolution screens, such as this one. It performs well at 1440p though, and especially so if you use DLSS 3 and frame generation. It’s also commonly used in lighter weight laptops, so it’s no surprise to see it here with this MSI Stealth option.
- Decent CPU: This laptop has an Intel Core Ultra 9-185H, which came out in December 2023. It has 16 cores and 22 threads and can run at up to 5.1 GHz. It also features an integrated AI Boost NPU for hardware AI workload acceleration. That’s essentially means that this CPU can handle AI tasks better than traditional CPUs without this feature – which comes in handy if you’re frequently using it.
- Stunning display: You’ve got a QHD, 240hz display here, which is ideal for practically any usage. If you enjoy fast-paced gaming at high fps, this is great for you, but it’s also good if you prefer more visually detailed, immersive titles too.

Who’s this deal for?
This is an excellent laptop for those who want to game on the go, but aren’t too hot on the aesthetic of gaming laptop. In terms of what you’re getting inside, it’s bang in the middle when it comes to performance and I think for the cash, you’re getting a lot of bang for your buck. This laptop will be at its best when gaming in 1440p with DLSS and frame generation switched on to assist with getting high frame rates, which suits a wide range of different game types.
