The INSIGNIA 55″ 4K QLED TV is currently sitting on Amazon with a massive 43% discount that knocked it down to $229.99. Not only is this an excellent price cut, but this TV also seems to be very popular, as over 1,000 units were sold in the past month. This price tag puts this 4K TV in the budget category, but its quality is anything like a budget TV.

For more options, we’d recommend you check out some of the early Black Friday TV deals, as you might find a larger TV for less or just overall deeper discounts. That being said, Black Friday falls on the 28th of November this year, so if you’ve got your eyes on other offerings, pay close attention as the prices should drop as the big day draws close.

INSIGNIA 55-inch QF 4K QLED TV (NS55-UQFL26)

Smart Fire TV with Alexa Voice Remote
Reasons to Buy
  • Light on the pocket
  • Great color with a QLED panel
  • Excellent details and quality with the 4K resolution
Reasons to Avoid
  • It is a very straightforward TV with not a lot of fancy features

Why you should consider this 4K TV

For starters, this TV offers a good size, as 55″ doesn’t require a lot of space but also isn’t small enough that you won’t enjoy watching content on it. It has a QLED panel that is known for its superior brightness, wider color range, better contrast, and doesn’t have the risk of burn-in.

It also has Dolby Vision that works to increase the overall picture quality to ensure that you have the best viewing experience, whether you’re watching a movie, news, documentaries, or a sports match. Dolby Atmos with 5.1 channel audio should deliver an immersive experience, but that can be taken to the next level if you have a soundbar or a sound system.

It is also compatible with Apple AirPlay, meaning that if you have an Apple device, you can effortlessly mirror content on this TV from it. So, whether you want to watch family videos or stream a TV show from your laptop or phone, it is possible with this feature.

Is this a good deal?

This TV doesn’t have a lot of features, but given the price tag, that is reasonable, as it should deliver a good viewing and an immersive experience with the features that it does have. The barebones functionality of this TV is also good if you just want a TV that gets the job done and has good picture quality. That being said, for the price, we think this is a good offer, and it is also one of the most sold options, as 1,000+ units were sold in the past month.
