Currently $150 off and down to $2,149.99, this laptop packs the impressive RTX 5070 Ti mobile, top-tier Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processor, and a very impressive OLED, 240Hz, 2.5K display. It’s the kind of laptop that ticks all the boxes, without being as astronomically pricey as RTX 5080 or RTX 5090 alternatives.

What we like about this Lenovo Legion Pro 7i gaming laptop
Impressive CPU
This laptop features the excellent Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX, which is up there with the best laptop CPUs you can get. It has a notably large core and thread count (24 + 24), a high boost clock speed of 5.4GHz, which is going to be good for both gaming and heavy-duty tasks, like rendering, and a large 36MB L3 cache. It also features an NPU, with a performance rating of 13 TOPS. All in all, a very good processor to have in your laptop that should enhance both your gaming and productivity sessions. If you’re a content creator, in particular, we think this is a great way to go.
RTX 5070 Ti mobile GPU
This graphics card is a good middle-of-the-road option to go for in a gaming laptop, in our view, and a solid upgrade over previous generations, especially for high fps 1080p and 1440p. It has 5888 cores, 12GB of GDDR7 memory, a 192-bit bus, and 847MHz and 1447MHz boost clock speeds. Since it’s built on Nvidia’s Blackwell architecture, it means you’re getting access to DLSS 4 and MFG, which can help push frame rates higher, and there are also improvements to ray tracing performance, too.
Stunning screen
This is where this laptop really comes into its own. It has an OLED display that’s 240Hz, 2.5K, and has a ma brightness of 500 nits. This is pretty much as good as it gets, especially at this price point. It’s going to be ideal for high fps gaming, but also going to provide life-like picture quality, wth deep contrast, which will really showcase more realistic looking games at their best. Its 2.5K resolution is great, too, as 4K laptop screens can be a little overkill and incredibly expensive, given that a 2.5K resolution looks super sharp on a small 16-inch screen.

Finally, you’ve got a 1TB SSD, which is more than enough for most people, and a large 32GB of DDR5 RAM for heavy multitasking, or playing games with large asset libraries, such as those that are heavily modded or open-world.
Who’s this deal for?
Coming in at $2,1499.99, this laptop would be excellent for anyone who wants to game on the go, have access to some of the 50-series upscaling technologies, and who works in a creative field or content creation. The 5070 Ti mobile is a good, but not overkill, option from a pricing perspective, and the CPU is one of the best you can get right now, and the fact that it has an NPU is a real win. As you can see from the graph above, it’s been reduced for a while now, so it’s still a great time to buy.
