QD-OLED monitors are the very best of the best when it comes to picture quality, but they can be pretty pricey at the best of times. The good news is that there are currently a load of MSI QD-OLED models that are discounted at Newegg, with one in particular standing out from the crowd.

Right now, you can score this MSI MAG 4K QD-OLED monitor for $170 off, bringing its price down from $999.99 to $829.99. As far as these types of monitors go, this is very well priced in our opinion, especially as it’s 240Hz, 4K, and 32-inches. Here’s why we think it’s worth considering if you’re looking for something to showcase your games in all their glory.

MSI MAG 321UPX QD-OLED 32″

16:9, QD-OLED Gaming Monitor, 240Hz 0.03ms, 3840 x 2160 (UHD), Height Adjustable Arm

What we like about the MSI MAG 321UPX

This is a QD-OLED monitor, so it combines the Quantum Dot and OLED technologies for incredible contrast, color, and excellent brightness. These monitors are essentially the top-tier when it comes to picture quality and are designed for those looking for the best of the best for their PCs. While this monitor will make games look incredible, it’s also an excellent option for those working in the creative field. That’s because of its Delta E=2 color accuracy and 99% DCI-P3 color, which are in line with market standards. In short, if you’re looking for something you can use for professional graphic design, photo editing, or video editing, but also for gaming, then this is a great option to go for.

For gaming, it has all the bells and whistles you’d expect from a high-end monitor. It has a 240Hz refresh rate with a very low 0.03ms response time, which is excellent for a 4K monitor. To make the most out of this, you’ll want to make sure it’s being paired with a higher-end gaming PC, like an RTX 5080 or RTX 5090, for sure.

OLEDs are typically quite dim, but the good news is that this has a DisplayHDR 400 certification, meaning it should achieve at least 400 nits of brightness. That’s more than enough for most people and should allow for clear viewing even in well-lit environments. There are also a lot of features designed to reduce the chances of burn-in. As with most QD-OLED monitors, this includes a combination of detection and brightness adjustment for static images, like taskbars or logos, for instance.

Deals season is here folks, and with it comes a plethora of eye-catching price cuts on some of the industry's most popular tech. Below are some of the best deals you can find right now.

  • Ergonomic stand: Tilt, rotate, and adjust the height of this monitor to find the perfect position.
  • HDMI 2.1: Good for PS5 and Xbox Series X, and allows for higher fps at 4K.
  • Large screen: 32 inches is an excellent size for immersion, but also brilliant for design or having multiple windows open.

Who’s this deal for?

Coming in at just under $830, this monitor is actually very well priced considering what you’re getting, and it’s definitely a high-end model that would suit top-tier 4K gaming builds. It’s overkill for say, an RTX 5070 build, which you would be better off with one of MSI’s QD-OLED 1440p options instead.

That being said, we’d say it’s well worth considering, but if you’re looking for something brighter and likely cheaper, we’d say your best bet is to go for a mini-LED monitor instead. These will be significantly brighter than OLED models, but you may run into some haloing from time to time. It’s a trade-off, but it may be worth it if you can save some cash in the process.
