What we like about this Skytech Gaming Azure 3 PC

Excellent card for 1440p and some 4K

The RTX 5070 Ti is a great card from a price-to-performance perspective, and a good option for those looking for something very capable for 1440p at ultrasettings, and good for 4K, if you don’t mind tweaking a few settings and using DLSS and MFG to assist. It has 8960 CUDA cores, which is around two thousand less than the RTX 5080, a decent 16GB of improved GDDR7 memory, a 256-bit bus, and a 2295MHz and 2452MHz boost clock speed. On top of that, it also has one HDMI 2.1b and three DisplayPort 2.1b outputs. The big thing with this card that makes it a no-brainer against the RTX 5070 is its VRAM, which is 4GB more than the non-TI version. This is far better for gaming at higher resolutions and with effects like ray tracing, where the non-TI can struggle.

One of the best gaming CPUs around

This PC features the impressive Ryzen 7 7800X3D, which was once the very best gaming CPU you could buy. This processor features 8 cores, 16 threads, a boost clock speed of 5GHz, and a massive 96MB L3 cache. It’s this cache that really makes a difference with gaming performance, though. It’s a 3D v-cache, which is ‘stacked’, so you’re getting something much larger than typical CPUs. A bigger cache means you can access data faster, which is especially important for reducing frame latency. That’s why if you’re gaming at high fps, the X3D options are most likely your best bet. For the 5070 Ti, this is a great choice, and one that’s going to be less expensive than the more recent 7 9800X3D, too, but without sacrificing much in the way of performance.

Entry-sized SSD, but decent RAM

You’ve got a 1TB SSD here, which is okay for most, but may fill up quickly if you’re storing more than six to seven AAA titles. Ideally, a 2TB option would be best, but you can always upgrade. On the RAM side, you’re getting 32GB of DDR5 here, which should keep your system feeling responsive and also come in handy should you be playing large open-world titles or heavily modded games.

Stylish case

The Skytech Azure lineup, in particular, delivers the goods when it comes to design, featuring RGB lighting that can be controlled via one app, and glass panels giving you an unobstructed view into the gaming PC itself. You’ve also got some nice details like the LED display, which can be used to show the temperatures of the CPU. It’s also a mid-sized ATX PC case, which is great for those who want something small enough to sit on their desk, without it taking up too much space.

How will this gaming PC perform?

We haven’t yet got our hands on an RTX 5070 Ti 16GB to review, so we’ll defer to other benchmarks to give you an idea of how this PC will perform with gaming. Starting with Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty, a particularly demanding title to run, the card was recorded getting 124fps at 1440p, and 67fps at 4K, both at ultra settings with no ray tracing enabled. Star Wars: Jedi Survivor saw 112fps at 1440p, and 58fps at 4K in epic quality. And finally, A Plague Tail: Requiem was playable at 122fps at 1440p, and 68fps at 4K at ultra settings. All-in-all, as you can see, this card is very impressive at 1440p and should be able to offer decent fps with ray tracing, and if you’re not too fussed about playing at 4K with absolutely maxed out settings, it’s a good option, too.

Who’s this deal for?

For $2,179.70, this is a pretty good deal for anyone looking for a very capable gaming PC that won’t completely break the bank, and looks the part, too. As you can see from the graph above, it’s also a great time to buy it at its best price ever on Amazon. If you’re looking for something that’s going to be better for 4K, we’d recommend upping your budget by around $400 to $500 more for an RTX 5080 gaming PC. We’ve spotted a fair few that come in at around $2500 recently, and in many cases feature a Ryzen ‘X’ processor instead of an X3D. These are still great for gaming, but make the price of an RTX 5080 gaming PC far more affordable than a build with an X3D model or Intel Core Ultra CPU.
