I’ve spotted a cracking deal on this Koorui 34-inch gaming monitor, that brings its price down from $499.99 to just $269.99. That’s 46% off its list price, and it also happens to be its best price of the year on Amazon, according to camelcamelcamel.
There’s a lot to like about this monitor, especially for the new price. You can jump straight to the deal via the box below, or keep reading for my take on this display, and what makes it a standout deal.
KOORUI 34-inch Curved Ultrawide WQHD 3440×1440 Gaming Monitor
What you need to know about this Koorui 34-inch monitor
Koorui is an excellent brand to go for if you’re looking for excellent performance and features, but at a more wallet-friendly price point. Its monitors are also pretty popular, as seen with this 34-inch option which has been bought over 400 times in the last month, according to the Amazon listing.
As far as monitors go, this ticks more than a few boxes.
The screen itself has an 1000R curve, which means it’s not to aggressive, but still delivers on immersion. It also has HDR400 support, meaning you can expect excellent contrast, bright whites, and a wide color gamut. In fact, it’s even 95% DCI-P3, which while not the level of professional creative monitors, is closer to them than some at this price bracket. This all adds to more life-like and realistic picture quality, that’s ideal for both gaming and watching content.

Its refresh rate is also fairly impressive for this price range, coming in at 165hz with the added bonus of AMD FreeSync Premium. This should allow for higher fps gaming at 1440p, making this a versatile monitor for many different types of PC build. Personally, I’d lean more towards the mid-tier setups, as a higher-end monitor, QD-OLED monitor would be preferable if you have one of the best graphics cards.
This is more of an lower to mid-level monitor, so it scales back on a few features to keep it cost-effective. There’s no USB-C port and no built in speakers, which to be honest, isn’t much of a miss. You also don’t have any RGB and the design is quite basic, in comparison to some of the Samsung Odyssey, MSI, or LG offerings for example.
But if that’s not important to you, and you want something that’ll showcase your games effectively without costing an arm and a leg, then I’d say this monitor is worth considering.
Is it the best time to buy?
I’d say it’s the best time to grab this monitor on Amazon right now, yes. While it seemingly hasn’t been at its full list price for sometime according to camelcamelcamel, it appears that this year it has rarely come close to its all-time-low. According to the graph, it hit $279.99 only twice this year, making this current deal a better option.
