The combination of the Core Ultra 9 275HX and RTX 5090 is perfect for pretty much anything you can throw its way. 3D modeling, rendering, 4K video editing, data compression, media encoding, Photoshop, animation, and other tasks should be taken care of with high efficiency. Moreover, the 64GB DDR5 RAM should help in this regard, as demanding tasks require more RAM, and multitasking should also be easy, as the performance shouldn’t take a hit if you’ve got multiple apps running in parallel.
The display also caters to the capabilities of the RTX 5090 as it has a 2.5K resolution (16:10 aspect ratio) with a 300Hz refresh rate. At this resolution, this beast of a GPU can handle any title out there and churn out high FPS. However, even if the frames aren’t touching 300, you can turn on DLSS 4 to push it to the next level.
Overall, this gaming laptop does have a very high cost, but it should keep your work and gaming sessions flowing smoothly without any issues for the foreseeable future. That being said, we won’t recommend it just for gaming, as it can do much more than that, and for professionals like designers, content creators, data scientists, and others, it should be a good machine to grab.
