ABS Cyclone Aqua Gaming PC (RTX 406 & Intel 14700F)
Right now, Newegg is offering the ABS Cyclone Aqua gaming PC for only $1,079.99. Previously, it was listed for $1,499.99, but the 28% discount has slashed $420 off of it. We’ve also highlighted some of its key features below, which will help you learn what this PC offers.
Key features and highlights of the ABS Cyclone Aqua gaming PC
- CPU: The ABS Cyclone offers the Intel Core i7-14700F, which is a part of the Intel 14th-gen lineup. It has two cores in total – 8-Performance cores and 12-Efficient cores. Aside from that, it has an Intel Smart Cache size of 33 MB and offers a max turbo frequency of up to 5.4 GHz.
- GPU: Next up, we have the RTX 4060. Even though it is a budget option in the RTX 40-series lineup, it can run most games smoothly at 1080p with the graphics maxed out. In fact, it can also run some games at 1440p, but you might need to lower the graphics a bit for a few.
- RAM and storage: To ensure that you don’t face any performance-related issues, especially during multitasking, ABS has included 32GB of DDR5 RAM, which has a max speed of up to 6000 MHz. Aside from that, you’ll also get 2TB of storage in the form of an NVMe SSD.
- Cooling and PSU: The ABS Cycle also boasts a 120mm RBG Tower Air Cooler, which will keep the CPU temps within safe limits. For the PSU, there’s a 650W power supply with an 80+ Gold rating.
Should you get this gaming PC?
If your main goal is to play games at 1080p, then the ABS Cyclone Aqua is definitely worth considering. The 14700F is a decent processor, and while it can not be overclocked, it boasts specs that will let it handle CPU-intensive tasks smoothly. Aside from that, we reviewed the RTX 4060 and found it to be a great card for budget-conscious builders. In Cyberpunk 2077, which is a pretty demanding game, the card was able to deliver around 77 FPS at 1080p. Even at 1440p, the FPS was around 48. In a less demanding game, Far Cry 6, we were getting around 124 FPS at 1080 and 84 FPS at 1440p. Keep in mind that we were playing these games with the graphics maxed out and without relying on any upscaling technology, like DLSS.
