Mid-range Skytech RTX 5060Ti 16GB gaming PC gets a massive $570 discount at Newegg
Table of Contents
We’ve spotted an excellent PC deal that we think is well worth considering if you’re after something great for 1080p and 1440p gaming. This Skytech Azure prebuild is going for a massive $570 off, bringing its price down from $1,799.99 to $1,229.99, making it incredibly competitively priced for an RTX 5060 TI 16GB option, and only a couple of hundred dollars more than some of the RTX 5060 8GB options we’ve seen in the sales recently. If you’re looking for more VRAM, but still want to stick to a budget, this would be a good deal to check out.

What we like about this Skytech gaming PC
RTX 5060 Ti 16GB variant
The RTX 5060 Ti 16GB graphics card is an excellent choice for those seeking a high-performance option for 1080p and 1440p resolutions. Obviously, the big win here is that this variant features 16GB of GDDR6 VRAM, allowing this card to handle much higher graphical demands than the much lower 8GB RTX 5060. As a mid-range card, you really can’t go wrong with this one from a price-to-performance perspective, too. To give you an idea of performance, you can check out our review of the ASUS Prime Overclocked RTX 5060Ti. With our benchmarking for Cyberpunk 2077 at Ultra Settings, we saw this card get 123fps/1080p, 78fps/1440p, and with ray tracing, 52fps/1080p and 32fps/1440p. That’s without DLSS and MFG, too.
Ryzen 7 7700 processor
This processor is often found in mid-range builds and is a solid option if you’re looking for something for good gaming performance. It has a decent 8-core and 16-thread count, with a high boost clock speed of 5.3GHz, and a good-sized 32MB L3 cache. While it’s not as punchy as some of the X3D options, it’s a fair bit cheaper, and a great way of keeping costs down without sacrificing too much on performance. We think it’s a great value processor to pair with the RTX 5060 Ti. You can check out our review of the Ryzen 7 7700X to get a rough idea of what the 7 7700 brings to the table.
DDR5 RAM
While it’s not uncommon to find DDR5 RAM in these prebuilts, with DDR4 only really being spotted with 30 and 40-series lower-end models, that doesn’t mean it isn’t a big win when you get 32GB of it for this price. It has 5,200Mhz speeds, which is quite good, but not quite as fast as what you’ll find in builds around the $2000 mark. It is, however, more than enough to enhance both gaming and productivity workflows, so you shouldn’t be left wanting.
Who’s this deal for?
Coming in at $1,229.99, as mentioned, this is a very competitively priced gaming PC that’s ideal for both first-time buyers and those looking for an upgrade from a more budget setup. It offers mid-range performance, but at a price that’s much closer to some of the more affordable RTX 5060 8GB alternatives, which are closer to $1000 in most cases. For an extra couple of hundred dollars, we think it’s well worth it if you’re after something brilliant for 1080p and 1440p.
