This Skytech RTX 5070 Ti gaming PC is currently $500 off at Newegg, bringing its price down from $2,399.99 to $1,899.99. That’s a pretty competitive price point, as far as RTX 5070 Ti gaming PCs go, and even more so considering this rig has 32GB of DDR5 RAM and one of the best, if not slightly older, gaming CPUs on the market, the Ryzen 7 7800X3D. For 1440p gaming, this build is a great option to go for, and for well under $2000, we think it brings a lot to the table.

What we like about this Skytech Gaming Azure 3 prebuilt PC

Excellent gaming processor

This gaming PC packs the impressive Ryzen 7 7800X3D, which was once the king of gaming CPUs thanks to its massive L3 cache of 96MB, which allows for drastically reduced frame latency, which is excellent for smoother gameplay at higher frame rates. It’s often found paired with some of the best graphics cards on the market, although the Ryzen 7 9800X3D is the newer, preferred choice for cards like the RTX 5080 or RTX 5090. For the RTX 5070 Ti, it’s an excellent choice, especially considering this Ryzen CPU has become increasingly affordable since its release back in 2023. Like the 9800X3D, it has a more modest core and thread count (8 and 16), meaning that for heavy multitasking, you may be better off with something like the Ryzen 9 7950X3D (16 cores, 32 threads), but from our experience, finding prebuilt gaming PCs with this combo is rarer. Overall, it’s a brilliant gaming processor that’ll serve you very well. You can read our full review here for a deeper dive into its performance.

Excellent mid-range graphics card for 1440p

The RTX 5070 Ti is a great option over the likes of the 5070, as it boasts a decent 16GB of VRAM, making it better for higher resolution gaming. According to the Newegg benchmarks, you’re getting 144fps/ 1440p for Black Ops 6, 115fps/ 1440p for Cyberpunk 2077, and 70fps/ 1440p for Black Myth: Wukong. For 4K, this card can perform well with certain titles with a little extra help from DLSS and MFG. The same goes for Ray Tracing at 1440p, where, with some upscaling, it can achieve fairly impressive frame rates. In one review, it noted that with Black Myth: Wukong, it averaged 57fps, with DLSS quality upscaling enabled, and with Cyberpunk 2077, 74fps with quality upscaling at 1440p. While this card isn’t a huge uplift on the previous generation, it is a solid option for 1440p and one that’s still great value for money, especially at this price point.

Stylish design

Skytech’s PCs are some of the best-looking rigs on the market, and this one in particular stands out from the crowd. Its glass panels give you a full view of the components inside the case, and there’s a fair bit of RGB which leans heavily into the gamer aesthetic. That being said, it’s also very clean-looking and even a little minimal in some senses, which makes it a very versatile option that could work with many different types of setups. And we also think the temperature display is a great little touch, too.

Who’s this deal for?

Coming in at $1,899.99, this is a good price for an RTX 5070 Ti gaming PC and will be great for those looking for something excellent for 1440p and some 4K with the right settings. We’d personally stick to 1440p with this PC and pair it with a good QHD monitor, which will also help keep overall setup costs lower.
