MSI’s premium 49-inch QD-OLED ultrawide monitor drops to its lowest price in 30 days at Newegg
Table of Contents
This premium MSI 49-inch ultrawide monitor is now down to its lowest price in 30 days at Newegg at $999.99. For a QD-OLED monitor this size, from one of the leading names in the space, that’s a very competitive price, and there’s even an extra $40 off with a Newegg promo code, too.
This is one of the higher-end 49-inch dual-QHD monitors out there, as it features a high 240Hz refresh rate, DisplayHDR True Black 400, and ClearMR 13000 certifications, and is also loaded wth advanced burn-in protection, courtesy of MSI’s OLED Care 2.0 suite.
MSI 49 inch Ultrawide DQHD OLED gaming monitor
What we like about this MSI 49-inch ultrawide monitor deal?
Super wide display QD-OLED display for a great price
49-inch ultrawides are expensive as is, but when you throw QD-OLED panel technology and a 240Hz refresh rate into the mix, they can be some of the priciest options available.

1800R curve is more versatile than steeper alternatives
This alone would up the price, at least in my eyes, as its more subtle curvature makes it far more practical than something with a 1000R curve for non-gaming tasks, like video editing and general productivity.
Truly outstanding color for a gaming monitor
You’ve got 98% Adobe RGB, 99% DCI-P3, and 146% sRGB, which essentially gives you everything you need for gaming, video editing, web, and print design. For the price, you’re practically getting a top-end creator display and gaming monitor in one.
High refresh rate is ideal for fast-paced gaming
Coming in at 240Hz, you can expect super smooth on-screen movement at up to 240fps. That’s great for competitive gaming, but it’s going to be a game-changer if you’re using this monitor for racing gams, in particular.
Impressive certifications for HDR and low motion blur
This monitor is DisplayHDR True Black 400 certified and has a ClearMR 13000 certification. This means you’re getting brilliant contrast, high peak brightness, and outstanding color, and also a screen that has very low motion blur, even at high refresh rates.
Who is this deal for?
This is a dual-QHD monitor, so it’s pairable with a pretty wide range of gaming PCs, but I’d say it’s going to work best with something with a higher-end QHD graphics card, like an RTX 5070 Ti, for example.
It’s a premium monitor that earns its price tag due to its epic picture quality, which is going to make your games look seriously atmospheric, immersive, and lifelike. That being said, it’s also a great option for hybrid usage, especially if you’re a video editor, as its ultra-wide format works well with most video editing applications’ UIs.
If you’re looking for a premium monitor and have the budget, then this is one of the best you can get, and well worth considering while it’s at its lowest price in 30 days.
