Table of Contents
Black Friday may be on the horizon, but we’ve probably found one of the best budget gaming PC deals already. This MSI Gaming PC is down $200, reduced from $1,099.00 to $899.00, and is currently at its best price in 30 days at Newegg. It features an RTX 5060 8GB, a great card for 1080 at max settings, the versatile Intel i5-14400F processor, 32GB of DDR5 RAM, and a large 2TB SSD. On top of that, you’re also getting MSI build quality and design, which you’d usually pay a premium for compared with most other RTX 5060 builds, but for way less than usual. In our eyes, it’s a fantastic deal that’s well worth jumping on.

What we like about this MSI Gaming PC
Brilliant budget graphics card
This build features the RTX 5060, which is one of the best graphics cards to go for if you’re looking for something in the 50-series that doesn’t break the bank. It has an MSRP of $299.99, which makes it very accessible for most people, and generally speaking, allows prebuilt gaming PCs to come in at under $1000. Since this is more of a budget card, it’s mainly targeted at 1080p gaming at high settings, but it can be used for more basic creative work, too. Tasks like video editing and photo editing would be well-suited to this card, and it’s also good for AI-accelerated workloads, too, especially those used in creative apps. The only limitation here is the 8GB of VRAM, which, as you’ll know, won’t be great for handling higher resolutions and ray tracing. That being said, if you’re gaming more casually and are more interested in high framerates, then this card is a great way to go, especially over the 4060, as it features DLSS 4 and MFG.
Versatile Intel processor
The Intel Core i5-14400F is a pretty versatile processor, especially for the price. Created with value in mind, this CPU features a decent core and thread count (10 + 16), which makes it much better for moderate multitasking and productivity. Its high boost clock speed of 4.7GHz is great for gaming, and it has a fairly large 20MB L3 cache, too. For video editing or creative workloads, this CPU is a great choice, and it’ll also be able to handle gaming at high settings at 1080p with no problem, too.
Very good RAM and storage for the price
You’ve got 32GB of DDR5 RAM and a 2TB SSD in this build, which is seriously good for something at this price point. Not only is the DDR5 RAM going to ensure smooth multitasking and reduced latency, but 32GB is also going to be enough for even the most hefty system requirements, giving you some headroom for future releases. The 2TB SSD is also a big win here, allowing you enough room for both games and other files, like 4K video footage, without it filling up instantly.
How will this PC perform?
For gaming, you can expect this PC to perform very well at 1080p at ultra settings, hitting over 100fps in most modern titles, and dropping to playable double digits with ray tracing enabled. From our research, we’ve seen benchmarks putting it at 120fps with Cyberpunk 2077 at 1080p, max settings, and then 70fps with ray tracing enabled, which is not bad at all for the price. 1440p performance is also decent, with some benchmarks putting it at 66fps with the same game at max settings with no ray tracing; however, we’d say that you’re better off targeting 1080p to get the best experience.

Who’s this deal for?
This is a genuinely fantastic deal if you’re looking for a high-quality gaming PC that can also be used for productivity and light to moderate creative workloads. MSI prebuilds are some of the best gaming PCs you can get, so you usually have to pay a premium for their higher-end design, components, and overall build quality. Coming in at under $900 is seriously good value for a PC of this calibre, and well worth jumping on while it’s reduced, in our opinion.
