Key features of this IPASON Zyron Gaming Desktop
RTX 5080 graphics card & Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor
This is a powerhouse combination for 4K gaming. First off, the RTX 5080 is one of the best graphics cards on the market right now, and alongside boasting 16GB of new and improved GDDR7 VRAM, it’s built on Nvidia’s new Blackwell architecture. That means you’re getting 4th-gen ray tracing cores, 5th-gen tensor cores, and DLSS 4 with MFG. It’s an excellent card for more complex creative tasks, too, and a good option for those working in 3D modelling or 4K video editing. The Ryzen 7 9800X3D is arguably the best gaming CPU you can get, and one of the best pairings with the RTX 5080. It features a decent 8-core and 16-thread count, big boost clock speed of 5.2GHz, and a large 96MB L3 cache, designed to dramatically reduce frame latency and improve overall gaming performance. Read our RTX 5080 and Ryzen 7 9800X3D reviews for more details.
32GB of RAM and 2TB of storage
You’ve got a large amount of DDR5 RAM in this build, which helps with everything from running demanding games to multitasking and using RAM-intensive creative applications and editing software. Its 2TB SSD is also large enough to hold around 15 to 20 big AAA games, which is more than enough for most people.
Cooling and design
A great-looking gaming PC, in our view, thanks to its glass panels, aRGB lighting, and neat cable management. We’re big fans of the small, customizable LCD on the CPU cooler, too. The cooling here is a robust 360mm AIO option with multiple fans to help keep the system running at its best, even under heavy and sustained loads.
Things to consider
Pricing-wise, this is a pretty good deal, and you get a lot for your money here. The only consideration we’d recommend making is whether the 9800X3D is right for you. We’d say that if you’re looking for something for both gaming and creative work, you may find one of the Intel Core Ultra options preferable. They have larger core and thread counts, and dedicated NPUs, which can come in handy for productivity, but the only trade-off is that their L3 caches aren’t as large, and they come up short against the most X3D models when it comes to gaming. Other higher core and thread count alternatives, which are quite affordable nowadays, can be found in Intel’s 14th-gen processors. These are excellent, but be warned, the top-tier 14900F runs super hot and needs a very powerful cooler.
