Amazing graphics card for 4K gaming
The RTX 5080 is one of the best graphics cards on the market, especially for 4K without the much heavier price tag of the RTX 5090. It features 10,752 CUDA cores, 16GB of GDDR7 memory, and a 256-bit bus and is built on Nvidia’s new Blackwell architecture, which boasts some significant improvements over the previous generation. You’ve got features like faster and higher bandwidth GDDR7 memory, access to new AI-based features like DLSS and MFG, which drastically increase framerates and overall smoothness of on-screen motion, too. In terms of performance, which we’ll get into later, it’s superior to the RTX 5070 Ti when it comes to 4K, especially if you’re using ray tracing. Overall, it’s an excellent card that’s ideal if you want to keep costs from going too astronomically high.
Versatile CPU
This build features one of Intel’s latest processors, the Core Ultra 7-265KF. This CPU has 20 cores, 20 threads, a 5.5 GHz boost clock, and a fairly large 30MB L3 cache. It also has a dedicated NPU, unlike the 14th Gen lineup, which comes in at 13 TOPs. This processor boasts strong multi-core performance and great efficiency, all while remaining quite cost-effective compared to some of the X3D alternatives or high-end Intel options from the Core Ultra series. While we think the Ryzen 7 9800X3D may be better for gaming for outright gaming builds, the 7-265KF would be the way to go if you plan on using this PC for more than just gaming.

How will the PC perform?
With our testing of the RTX 5080 Founder’s Edition, we were seriously impressed with both its 1440p and 4K performance, especially when it came to ray tracing. Cyberpunk 2077, which is particularly demanding, is a good benchmark to start with, and we saw this card get 68fps at 1440p and 35fps at 4K with ray tracing at ultra settings. Less demanding titles saw even more impressive results. Take Doom Eternal, which is designed to be played at very high fps. The RTX 5080 got 295 fps at 1440p and 191fps at 4K with ray tracing. When using DLSS, this is obviously increased even more. If we take Shadow of the Tomb Raider in 4K, it hit 91fps with ray tracing, then 181fps with DLSS performance enabled.
Who’s this PC for?
In short, someone who wants to game in 1440p at very high fps and may have a monitor that’s QHD, 360Hz, or someone who wants something very capable of 4K, but doesn’t want to spend upwards of $4000. It’s also going to be a good PC for hybrid usage, especially for multitasking or heavy-duty productivity and creative tasks.
