Newegg deal slashes $1650 off powerhouse RTX 5090, Ryzen 9 9950X3D gaming PC
Table of Contents
We’ve spotted a huge discount at Newegg on a high-end ABS gaming PC that we think is well worth shouting about. Right now, you can grab this outstanding ABS Eurus Ruby for $1650 off, reducing its price from $5,999.99 to $4,349.99. That’s an excellent price for an RTX 5090 gaming PC, which also packs AMD’s flagship processor, the Ryzen 9 9950X3D. This processor offers a higher core and thread count, larger L3 cache, and higher boost clock speed than the popular, more affordable alternative, the Ryzen 7 9800X3D. That means this PC is going to be amazing for gaming, but also exceptional for professional creative, content creators, and power users.
ABS Eurus Ruby Gaming PC – AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D – GeForce RTX 5090
What we like about this ABS Eurus Ruby gaming PC
AMD’s top gaming processor
This gaming PC packs AMD’s flagship CPU, the Ryzen 9 9950X3D, which is great for gaming, but also excellent for professional content creation and heavy multitasking. While the Ryzen 7 9800X3D is a popular choice for RTX 5090 builds and is more affordable, the Ryzen 9 9950X3D boasts a much higher core and thread count of 16 cores and 32 threads, which makes it much better for hybrid usage. It also has an enormous 128MB L3 cache, which makes the Ryzen 7 9800X3D’s 96MB L3 cache look small by comparison. On top of that, it has a very high boost clock speed of 5.7 GHz.
The best GPU on the market
The RTX 5090 is a card designed with die-hard, enthusiast gamers and power users in mind. Capable of 4K and 8K gaming, it features double the amount of VRAM as the RTX 5080, but comes in at double the price tag. It’s well worth it if you’re looking for the best of the best. We’ve tested some RTX 5090 graphics cards here at PC Guide, which we can use to give you a rough idea of what to expect in terms of performance. Our benchmarks for the MSI Suprim SOC RTX 5090 were very impressive, with it getting 110fps/ 4K and 60fps/ 4K with Ray Tracing with Cyberpunk 2077 at ultra settings. In Doom Eternal at ultra settings, it was able to hit 387fps/ 4K and 269fps/ 4K with Ray Tracing. And with AC Mirage at ultra settings, it managed an impressive 149fps at 4K. That’s all without using DLSS or MFG, which, when used, can drastically increase frame rates. For instance, in Cyberpunk 2077 at 4K with Ray Tracing, with DLSS Performance and MFG x4, it was able to achieve an absurdly high 293fps.
Good storage and high-speed RAM
This PC features a 2TB NVMe SSD, which is a good amount of storage for someone using this for gaming and content creation. It’s not a Gen5 SSD, but that’s very rare to find in prebuilds from our experience and only typically found in super high-end options that veer more towards the $5000 to $6000 mark. Considering Gen4 SSDs are still very fast, even with an RTX 5090, we don’t think you’re missing out on much. When it comes to the RAM, you’ve got a decent 32GB of DDR5 here, and it’s slightly faster than average, coming in with 6400MHz memory speeds, compared to your typical 5400MHz or 6000MHz offerings.
Who’s this deal for?
Coming in at $4,349.99, this is actually on the lower end when it comes to RTX 5090 gaming PC pricing, despite having a top-tier, flagship AMD CPU. If you’re looking for something that’ll be excellent for gaming, but want a processor with a higher core and thread count than what the more affordable Ryzen 7 9800X3D, RTX 5090 builds can offer, then this is a good deal to jump on.

If it’s still a bit pricey, we’re spotting a lot of RTX 5080 gaming PCs with large discounts on Newegg, too, and these will be great for 4K gaming, but rarely come with 9950X3D processors. That being said, they’re often available for $2500, making them far more accessible from a pricing perspective.
