Cooler Master TD5 Pro – Intel Core Ultra 9-285K – GeForce RTX 5090
What we like about this Cooler Master TD5 Pro gaming PC
RTX 5090 graphics card
The top dog graphics card from Nvidia, built on its new Blackwell architecture, and boasting 21,760 CUDA cores and a massive 32GB of new and improved GDDR7 memory. This card excels at 4K and even 8K gaming, and can easily handle 3D rendering and other heavy-duty creative tasks. On top of that, you’ve also got DLSS 4 nd MFG, which can be used to push frame rates much higher in specific games, all the while keeping them looking super smooth and fluid, too. A powerhouse graphics card, and well worth the investment if you have the budget.
Intel Core Ultra 9-285K
The Intel Core Ultra 9-285K is the best Intel has to offer from its Core Ultra series, and it’s seriously impressive for both gaming and productivity. It boasts 24 cores, 24 threads, a boost clock speed of 5.7Ghz, and a large 36MB L3 cache. While many RTX 5090 builds opt for X3D CPUs, they do tend to have lower core and thread counts, favoring a higher L3 cache instead. For those looking for a machine that’s going to be able to handle very intensive multitasking with ease, having an Intel CPU like this one would be he way to go, in our view.
32GB of DDR5 RAM and a large 2TB SSD
This PC packs an ample 32GB of DDR5 RAM with 6000Mhz speeds, which is up there with some of the fastest you can get. 32GB will come in handy when playing open-world games with large asset libraries, but also when working with multiple applications or having loads of tabs open without your system slowing down. The 2TB SSD is Gen4, which means it’s fast enough to positively impact your gaming sessions as well as workflows. You’ll find that boost and load times will be shorter, so you’ll get smoother cin game cutscenes, for example. Also, 2TB is more than enough for a hefty gaming library, plus a load of 4K footage, without needing to upgrade anytime soon.
Cooler Master PSU, cooling, and case
You’ve got an impressive Cooler Master 1000W Gold power supply here, which is designed wth very high-end systems in mind. It is highly efficient, stable, and powerful, and features high-quality capacitors to ensure excellent performance. On top of that, its 135mm fan runs quietly, too. You’ve also got Cooler Master MasterLiquid 360L Core ARGB cooling here, which delivers exceptional cooling performance thanks to its new generation of pumps and fans. All of this is housed in the great-looking Cooler Master TD500 Mesh PC case, which gives you full view into the inner workings of the PC, and is also designed for maximum airflow, too.
Who should get this deal?
Hybrid users, in short. If you’re someone looking for the very best when it comes to having, but also want something that can handle heavy-duty content creation work with ease, then this is the PC for you. Coming in at $3,699.99, it’s quite the investment, but in all honesty, as far as RTX 5090 models go, it’s actually more on the affordable side from what we’ve seen, and genuinely a great deal.
How will this PC perform?
You can check out both our reviews for the 5090 MSI Suprim SOC RTX 5090 and ROG Astral RTX 5090 to give you an idea of what to expect in terms of gamig performance, but in short, this PC should be able to easily hit 4K 60fps with ray tracing in even some of the most demanding titles at ultra settings, and that’s using our benchmarking for Cyberpunk 2077 for reference. Thanks to the Intel CPU and 32GB of RAM, this PC should feel incredibly responsive and be able to handle demanding creative applications without risk of slowdown, either.
