Newegg deal slashes $500 off superb RTX 5070, Ryzen 7 9700X gaming PC
Table of Contents
We’ve spotted a cracking offer at Newegg on this IPASON RTX 5070 gaming PC, which has knocked $500 off its price, reducing it from $2,299.99 to $1,799.99. As far as RTX 5070 gaming PCs go, this is quite affordable, especially as it packs a punchy Ryzen 7 9700X processor that adds to the overall price. It’s the kind of PC that’s going to be great for anyone looking for very strong 1440p performance, without coming that close to $2000. In terms of design, we think it looks great, and we’re big fans of the smaller, premium details, like its customizable LCD screen on its CPU cooler.

Key features of this IPASON gaming desktop
RTX 5070 & Ryzen 7 9700X
This build packs the impressive RTX 5070, which is one of the best graphics cards for 1440p gaming if you’re looking for something in the mid-range price bracket. A significant step up in terms of performance from the RTX 5060 TI, despite having less VRAM, the RTX 5070 can handle 1440p at high settings very well. It features the latest gen ray tracing cores and tensor cores, plus has DLSS4 with MFG, which can insert up to three frames between two, for much higher perceived framerates. The Ryzen 7 9700X is also a real winner when it comes to gaming performance, thanks to its big 5.5Ghz boost clock speed, large 32MB L3 cache, and decent core and thread count of 8 and 16. Read our RTX 5070 and Ryzen 7 9700X review for more details.
32GB of RAM and 1TB of storage
A solid amount of DDR5 RAM, which gives you some headroom for beefy system requirements, RAM-intensive applications, and assists with multitasking. The 1TB SSD is a little on the small side, but it can easily hold a good handful of large AAA games while leaving you enough space for other files.
Other features
This build features a 360MM AIO liquid cooler and six fans, plus there’s RGB lighting throughout for a touch of visual interest. The PC case itself allows for a full, unobstructed view into its inner workings, and there’s even a small, customizable LCD screen on the liquid cooler, too.
Things to consider
As mentioned, this gaming PC is well-priced, but not the cheapest we’ve come across. You can grab an RTX 5070 gaming PC on sale for under $1500 in our experience, and more often than not, the only sacrifice you’d make would be going for a less powerful processor. That being said, given that the RTX 5070 isn’t a super high-end card, you have a bit more wiggle room in the CPU department. If you’re sticking to a budget, and getting an RTX 5070 is your number one priority, you may want to explore some of the other gaming PC deals below while making your shortlist.
