This excellent iBuyPower gaming PC is now down $220 at Newegg, and has been reduced from $2,699.99 to $2,479.99; a pretty brilliant price considering this is one of its more premium, stylish offerings. You’ve got an RTX 5070 Ti here, which is a very good card for 1440p and entry-level 4K, and that’s paired with a Ryzen 7 9800X3D, or as many people would agree, one of the best gaming CPUs on the market. On top of that, there’s 32GB of DDR5 and a large 2TB SSD, for all your storage needs, and that’s all encased in a stylish, roomy PC case with tempered glass panels, excellent cooling, and aRGB throughout.

Key features of this iBuyPower RTX 5070 Ti gaming PC

Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor

One of the very best gaming CPUs currently available, this is an excellent processor to pair with the RTX 5070 Ti. It’s characterized by its massive L3 cache, made possible by AMD’s unique 3D V-cache technology. This huge 96MB L3 cache, combined with its 5.2Ghz boost clock speed, makes it capable of pushing very high framerates with low frame latency and very good 1% lows. On the multitasking front, it’s also very capable, and can utilize its 8 cores and 16 threads effectively in tasks like streaming, running background applications like OMS and Discord, and handling some of the heavy, multithreaded demands present in popular creative applications, like Blender and Adobe Premiere Pro. RTX 5070 Ti graphics card

One of the best graphics cards for top-end 1440p performance and decent, entry-level 4K, and a good option to go for if you’re looking at prebuilds for under $2,500. This card features 16GB of GDDR7 VRAM, which is both faster and higher bandwidth than GDDR6, and makes it capable of handling higher resolutions and textures compared to the RTX 5070. It packs 4th-gen ray tracing cores, 5th-gen tensor cores, and boasts exclusive features like MFG, which can help boost perceived fps much higher than this card’s raw performance. For creatives, it’s a good option to go for that will help with rendering video and 3D, improve exporting times, and more.

RAM and storage

You’ve got 32GB of DDR5 here, which is going to help give you enough headroom to edit large files, run multiple applications at once, and enhance gaming performance in asset-heavy titles, like Cyberpunk 2077, for example. It also has a 2TB SSD, which is enough space to pretty much save it and forget it, as its larger size means that you won’t have to worry to much about constant storage management.

Things to consider

I’ve quacked on about this before, but it’s an important point when looking at RTX 5070 Ti builds that are just under $2,500. In short, you can grab an RTX 5080 build for pretty much the same price, but you’ll get an Intel Core Ultra 7 265 processor in almost every case I’ve come across. If you’re after better 4K/ ray tracing performance, and an even more powerful workstation for demanding creative tasks, then one of these lower-end RTX 5080 builds is a great shout over the RTX 5070 Ti. But for amazing 1440p performance with an AM5 X3D processor, I’d stick with the 5070 Ti, as finding a 5080 build with a 7 9800X3D is usually only seen around the $2,700 mark from my experience.
