What we like about this Skytech gaming PC

Excellent card for 1440p and 4K

You’ve got one of the best price-to-performance graphics cards you can get in this build, the RX 9070 XT. This graphics card is great for 1440p and offers excellent 4K performance, too. It has 4096 Cores, 16GB of GDDR6 memory, a 256-bit bus, and a 1660 MHz base clock speed, which can be boosted to 2970MHz. You’ve also got access to FSR, which can be used in the same way Nvidia’s DLSS can to boost frame rates further.

Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor

Arguably the best gaming CPU for your money right now, the Ryzen 7 9800X3D is a powerhouse when it comes to reducing frame latency and an ideal choice for anyone looking to game at higher fps, or those who have top-tier graphics cards. It’s often found paired with RTX 5080 and RTX 5090 builds, so it can more than handle the RX 9070 XT. It features 8 cores, 16 threads, and a boost clock speed of 5.2GHz, and a large L3 cache of 96MB, which is one of the biggest you can get on the market. An incredible processor for gaming, and not bad when it comes to productivity and multitasking, too.

Great storage and RAM

You get a 2TB NVMe SSD in this build, which is more than enough space for both large gaming libraries and the rest of your files. Alongside this, you’ve got 32GB of DDR5 RAM with 6000Mhz speeds, which is up there with some of the fastest you can get. 32GB is also enough to ensure you can multitask without slowdowns, and it’s a good amount to have if you’re playing large, open-world games.

Antec Wood Curve Prism 4 PC case

This is one of Skytech’s most eye-catching PC cases, and it’ll certianly divide opinion as it’s one of the few that feature a wood effect. We’re big fans, and like how the wood contrasts with the panoramic glass panels that give you a very unobstructed view of the PC’s inner workings.

How will this PC perform?

The RX 9070 XT is similar, in some senses, to the RTX 5070 Ti in terms of performance, which gives you an idea of how good it is from a value perspective. To give you an idea of how this PC may perform, we can use our benchmarks from our ASUS Prime RX 9070 XT OC graphics card review. With Cyberpunk 2077, it got 129fps/ 1440p, 51fps/ 1440p RT, and 61fps/4K, 25fps/ 4K RT. Doom Eternal was even more impressive, hitting 387fps/ 1440p, 249fps/ 1440p RT, and 228fps/ 4K, 154fps/ 4K RT. For gaming without ray tracing enabled, like F1 24, it was able to hit 131fps at 1440p and 75fps at 4K. Overall, this PC should be able to comfortably hit triple-digit fps at 1440p and very playable framerates at 4K.

Who’s this deal for?

Coming in at $2,099.99, this deal is great for pretty much anyone who’s looking for something good for 1440p and 4K. It’s excellent value for money, considering you’re getting a top-tier gaming CPU, 2TB of storage, and 32GB of RAM. Plus, you’ve got Skytech quality here, when it comes to its PC case and cooling. If you wanted to up your budget a bit more, you can go for an RTX 5080 prebuild, which can be as low as $2400 in some cases. Check out some of our top PC deals below for more offers.
