This PC packs one of the top processors on the market right now, the Ryzen 9 9950X3D. This CPU basically does it all, and very well. It features a much higher core and thread count than the popular 7 9800X3D, coming in at 16 cores and 32 threads. This makes it very good for productivity and multitasking. For gaming, it has a very high boost clock speed of 5.7GHz, and a massive 128MB L3 cache, which is larger than the 9800X3D’s 96MB. In terms of performance, you’re going to notice that the most when you’re gaming at very high frame rates, as it will dramatically reduce frame latency, ensuring everything is looking as smooth as possible. It’s a brilliant processor, and an excellent choice to pair with the RTX 5090.

Top-tier graphics card

The RTX 5090 is arguably the best graphics card you can get right now, and is very capable at 4K and even 8K gaming. How will this PC perform?

Newegg has some benchmarks you can check out on its product page, which are for 1080p, 1440p, and 4K, at high settings with no ray tracing enabled. However, we have reviewed an MSI Surprim RTX 5090 OC graphics card which can give you a good idea of how it handles ray tracing at 4K. With Cyberpunk 2077, it was able to get 110fps at 4K, 60fps with ray tracing. With Doom Eternal, it managed 387fps at 4K, 269fps with ray tracing. DLSS and MFG dramatically improve these benchmarks, though. For example, with Cyberpunk 2077 with 4K ray tracing, DLSS performance, and MFG x4, we saw 293fps with the MSI RTX 5090.

Who should get this deal?

Coming in at $4,299.99, this is still quite the investment, but it’s now at the lower end of what you can expect to pay for an RTX 5090 build with this level of processor. This would be a very good pick for someone who wants something that can handle pretty much any game they can throw at it, but also wants something that’s going to be excellent for content creation and productivity. For the price, we think it’s a great deal, and well worth considering.
