What we like about the LG 27-inch Ultragear OLED gaming monitor

This is a premium QHD monitor and so it maxes out in pretty much every area. You’ve got a way higher than usual refresh rate, incredible color, a super-low response time, and much more here. If you’re someone who likes to play a variety of games, from fast-paced shooters to more immersive titles, this is the monitor for you.

On top of that, you’ve also got a 2 year warranty, which should give you some confidence that this OLED monitor is built to last and has suitable protection against burn-in.

This gaming monitor would be my top pick for anyone who’s got a mid to high-end gaming PC. This is a very impressive monitor that’s capable of showcasing even some of the very best GPUs in all their glory, especially if you’re if planning on pushing the frames per second at QHD with a high-end 50-series card.

It’s got a DisplayHDR 400 rating which means it can hold 400 nits of brightness at a minimum, which is bright, but not the brightest. If you want something that’s going to be more suitable to well-lit rooms, you may want to explore the more expensive QD-OLED displays, or less expensive mini-LED options.
