This ‘sleeper build’ HP Omen RTX 5090 is currently reduced significantly from its list price of $5,962.49 to $3,499.99, which is also its lowest price ever. It should be noted that price tracking data via camelcamelcamel shows its highest price as $5025.50, so we’re not sure why it’s showing as higher on the Amazon listing. This would make this discount closer to $1,500, which is still a pretty incredible deal.

Powerhouse graphics card
This build features one of the very best graphics cards on the market, the RTX 5090. This card is built on Nvidia’s Blackwell architecture and has a number of improvements over the 4090. Top-tier Intel processor
The Intel Core Ultra 9 285K is the top offering from the Core Ultra lineup, and while we’d say that AMD’s X3D processors are better for gaming, this CPU is an excellent all-rounder and especially good for multitasking and productivity. It features a much larger core and thread count than the 9800X3D, coming in at 24 and 24, with a very high boost clock speed of 5.7GHz for demanding tasks, and a large 36MB L3 cache. For tasks like 3D rendering and video editing, this CPU is a real winner, and it also, unlike the 14th Gen processors, has a dedicated NPU for AI acceleration, too.
Loads of RAM and storage
This build goes all in with RAM and storage, giving you 64GB of high-speed DDR5 and a large 2TB SSD. The RAM is pretty much overkill, but it does give you more than enough to keep your system feeling responsive even when running loads of heavy-duty applications at the same time. It’s also going to be good for open-world or heavily modded games, too. 2TB would be our choice if we were using this PC for both gaming and creative work.
Advanced cooling
This PC features HP Omen’s Cyro Chamber cooling system, which basically positions the liquid cooler into its own chamber at the top of the case. This allows it to pull in fresh air from the outside to cool the system, rather than drawing from the hot air already in the interior. It’s pretty ingenious, and we can see why HP patented it!
How will this PC perform?
In our own testing of an RTX 5090 graphics card, we saw it perform exceptionally well at 4K, which is why most people go for this card. In Cyberpunk 2077, it got 110fps at 4K and 60fps with ray tracing enabled. With Doom Eternal, it hit 387fps at 4K and 269fps with ray tracing. To give you an idea of how much MFG and DLSS enhance performance, it hit 135fps at 4K in F1 24, and jumped up to 305fps with DLSS performance and MFG enabled.
