Excellent graphics card for 1440p and 4K
The RTX 5080 is one of the best graphics cards you can buy for 4K gaming, and a much cheaper, relatively speaking, alternative to the RTX 5090, which is practically double the price. This card is built on Nvidia’s new Blackwell architecture, which boasts significant improvements on the previous Ada Lovelace architecture found in the 40-series. You’ve got higher bandwidth and faster GDDR7 VRAM, of which the RTX 5080 has 16GB, and features such as DLSS 4 and Multi Frame Generation, which can significantly enhance framerates and keep everything looking super smooth.
Top-tier Intel CPU
This build features the top dog of the Intel Core Ultra lineup, the 9 285K, which is an excellent CPU for gaming, creative work, and multitasking. While the Ryzen 7 9800X3D may be a better option for a purely gaming build, this Intel processor would be our go-to for hybrid usage, since it has a much higher core and thread count of 24 and 24, alongside a very high boost clock speed of 5.7GHz. It also features a dedicated NPU for AI-accelerated tasks, again, making it great for productivity.
Loads of RAM and storage
You’ve got 32GB of DDR5 RAM here, with decent speeds of 5200MHz. This is more than enough to keep your system running smoothly, and should also allow you to play open-world or heavily modded games without running in too many performance issues, too. You’ve also got a 2TB SSD, which is the size you’d want if you’re using this for both gaming and content creation, for example.
How will this PC perform?
We’d recommend checking out our full RTX 5080 review for a more in-depth look at how a PC with this card could perform, but here are some highlights from our benchmarks to give you a general idea of what to expect. In Cyberpunk 2077, the RTX 5080 got 72fps at 4K and 35fps with ray tracing. Doom Eternal saw 265fps at 4K, and 191fps with ray tracing. Shadow of the Tomb Raider got 138fps at 4K, 91fps with raytracing, and 181fps with DLSS performance. Its 1440p performance is exceptional, often hitting well over 100fps with ray tracing.

Who’s this deal for?
This is a great deal for anyone who’s looking for a powerful PC for gaming and heavy-duty productivity or creative tasks. As mentioned, a PC with an X3D processor would be better suited for a purely gaming build, but the choice of this Intel processor makes this PC far superior for hybrid usage, and for the price, it’s great.
