The RX 9070 XT is one of the best bang-for-your-buck graphics cards for 1440p and 4K gaming, and it looks like this XFS Swift edition just hit its lowest price ever in the Prime Big Deal Days sales. Right now, you can grab this for $60 off its list price, bringing it down to $679.99 on Amazon. XFX Swift AMD Radeon RX 9070XT Triple Fan Gaming Edition

with 16GB GDDR6 HDMI 3xDP, AMD RDNA 4 RX-97TSWF3BA

What we like about the XFX Swift RX 9070 XT

RNDA 4 Architecture and 16GB GDDR6 VRAM

Built on RNDA 4 architecture, this card boasts enhanced ray tracing capabilities and FSR 4 support, which uses AI to enhance framerates and provide smoother visuals, too. It also has 16GB of next-gen GDDR6 VRAM, which allows for much better handling of demanding games and textures. So much so, in fact, that this card stands out as one of the best price-to-performance GPUs you can go for, even against some of Nvidia’s 50-series offerings.

An excellent choice for 1440p gaming

While we haven’t tested this particular model, we have tested an ASUS Prime RX 9070 XT OC version, which we can use to give you an idea of how this XFX Swift performs. If we take Cyberpunk 2077 at ultra settings, pure rasterization, it was able to get an impressive 129fps at 1440p and 51fps with ray tracing, and could even get 61fps at 4K, with a 25fps with ray tracing. When we add FSR into the mix, we see further improvements with 4K specifically, and in the case of Cyberpunk 2077, it was able to get 68fps at 4K with ray tracing. Overall, it’s an excellent card that shines with 1440p at max settings and with high fps, and can also be used for 4K with a few tweaks.

Triple-Fan cooling

You’ve got the XFX Swift cooling system here, which is designed for both performance and quiet operation. It uses a triple fan design to maximize airflow, and these are also double ball bearing, which are known for their long lifespan and performance. On top of that, you’ve got a nickel-lated copper cold plate, which draws heat away from the CPU and 6mm heatpipes, which transfer heat to the heatsink fins.

Who’s this deal for?

Coming in at $679.99, we think this is a great price for a fantastic, versatile graphics card for 1440p and 4K gaming, that doesn’t break the bank and offers a strong alternative to the likes of the RTX 5070 or RTX 5070 Ti. As you can see from the graph above, its previous lowest price on Amazon was $720.62, so it’s new price has beaten this by a fair amount, making it well worth jumping on.
