The RTX 5070 performed quite well in our testing, and while it didn’t deliver RTX 4090 performance, as Nvidia suggested it would, it is an improvement on the last generation. All in all, it’s a good card for 1440p, but comes into its own when you get DLSS 4 into the mix, especially if you’re interested in gaming at higher fps.
When it comes to the CPU, it features an AMD Ryzen 7 9700F. This CPU has 8 cores, 16 threads, a 5GHz boost clock, and a relatively small 16MB L3 cache. It’s a gaming CPU first and foremost, and a good pairing with the 5070 without being unnecessarily overkill or driving up the overall price of this PC.
