Overclocked Gigabyte WindForce RTX 5070 Ti 16GB drops under $800 with Newegg deal
Table of Contents
If you’re looking for something excellent for 1440p and 4K gaming from the 50-series, but for a decent price point, then this deal could be a good shout for you. Right now at Newegg, this Gigabyte WindForce RTX 5070 Ti 16GB graphics card is $53.50 off, and reduced from $853.49 to $799.99. The MSRP of the RTX 5070 Ti is $749, but this particular card is an overclocked version with a very robust cooling solution, and doesn’t look half-bad with its all-black, stealthy design either. If you’re looking for a versatile card that can be used for both gaming and professional-level creative work, we’d say this is a very good option to go for, without paying too much of a premium for an extra performance boost.

Key features of this GIGABYTE WindForce RTX 5070 Ti 16GB graphics card
Nvidia Blackwell architecture & 16GB of VRAM
This card is built on Nvidia’s new Blackwell architecture, which gives you 4th-gen ray tracing cores, 5th-gen tensor cores, faster GDDR7 VRAM, and new features like DLSS4 and MFG. It also boasts a substantial 16GB of VRAM, allowing this card to handle much higher resolutions and textures, alongside more complex 3D rendering tasks than its non-Ti variant.
Advanced cooling
Gigabyte’s cooling system is impressive, to say the least. It features Hawk Fans, which are designed to increase air pressure and volume without increasing noise levels. These fans spin in alternate directions, which reduces air turbulence, and can switch off entirely when temperatures drop below a certain threshold. On top of this, there’s a large copper plate and composite heat pipe to whisk heat away from the GPU and VRAM, and the heatsink itself is extended for maximum heat dissipation.
Factory overclocked
This card is overclocked out of the box to 2497 MHz, which is a touch above your standard 2452 MHz option. This is good if you want to grab some extra performance without any manual tuning, but you can push it further via your preferred overclocking software.
Things to consider
If you’re looking at the RTX 5070 Ti, it’s also well worth checking out the RX 9070 XT, in our opinion. This card is very similar to the 5070 Ti, but typically more affordable with comparable performance at 1440p and 4K. There are a couple of areas where the 5070 Ti wins, such as better AI performance, faster and newer VRAM, and its MFG is pretty impressive, too, but if you’re looking for something with an excellent, perhaps even a better, price-to-performance ratio, then the RX 9070 XT 16GB should definitely be on your shortlist.
