If you’ve been meaning to upgrade the storage of your PC or laptop but weren’t able to get your hands on a cheap option, we have the perfect deal for you. This is the Patriot P300 M.2 256GB SSD, which had an asking price of $69.99, but with 11% shaved off, it has been made even more affordable for only $61.99. This isn’t a high-capacity SSD, but it should serve well as a secondary storage.
It is also compatible with laptops, but only those that have an M.2 NVMe slot. It is also shock resistant, so if you do install it in your laptop and it happens to fall, its integrity shouldn’t be compromised by that, and it should work just as normal. So, this is a good option to consider if you have a strict spending limit but want to give your performance and storage a boost.

What this SSD has to offer
For starters, the PCIe 3.0 interface allows for a maximum read and write speeds of 1,700 MB/s and 1,100 MB/s, respectively. What this means is that flash storage is possible, and it should also be able to deliver data quickly, resulting in good performance and efficiency. The fast controller of this SSD has super-fast read and write speeds, and the benefit of this is that it allows transferring large files, such as projects, games, videos, and more.

The end-to-end data protection is a great feature that uses multiple checks on the data moving through the PC to detect corruption. If it spots anything off, the controller can retry, and this helps reduce the risk of data getting corrupted silently. Thermal throttling technology is another amazing feature of this SSD. When it detects that the SSD is running hot, it tunes down the performance to lower the temperature, and this helps prevent it from getting damaged.
Besides that, it consumes very low power, which makes it a great option for laptops, as it won’t consume a lot of battery power. So, considering how little it costs, it comes with a handful of nifty features that add a bit of value to it.
