iBUYPOWER Slate Gaming PC
- Light on the pocket
- Perfect for low resolution gaming
- Solid productivity with the 265F
- 1TB SSD might not be enough
- Not meant for very heavy workflows
Why we liked this gaming PC deal
This gaming PC is coming at a very affordable price, and the pairing of the CPU and GPU makes it a great budget offering. The Core Ultra 7 265F is a toned-down version of the Core Ultra 7 265K, with a lower power draw and slower clock speeds. The core count is the same, so it should be able to deliver excellent multi-threaded output. This means handling various operations in parallel without slowing down.
The RTX 5060 goes well with the 265F, as it is an entry-level GPU, and for 1080p and 1440p, it is a good option. However, you won’t be able to push 4K without using DLSS 4 and MFG, but even that might not be enough depending on the title. When it comes to productivity and content creation, it should be able to handle various tasks without any issues, but keep in mind its 8GB VRAM, as processes that require more VRAM will take a hit.
For overall multitasking, this prebuilt PC has 32GB DDR5 RAM and a 1TB SSD. The system memory is a solid element, but the SSD could’ve been better. However, for the price, this is generally what you get, and to get the dice rolling, it is enough. You can upgrade the SSD for less with the Black Friday SSD deals if you have the budget. That being said, the gaming keyboard and mouse also provide more value, completing this package nicely.
