Black Friday graphics card deals are rolling in, and we’re spotting a fair few at their best prices. Take this PowerColor Hellhound Spectral RX 9060 XT, for instance, which is down from $399.99 to $369.99 and at its lowest ever price on Amazon. While the discount may be modest, if you’re looking for a great value and a higher VRAM alternative to some of the 8GB RTX 50-series options, that’s going to be excellent for 1080p and 1440p gaming, then we think this card is well worth considering while it’s reduced.

Key features of this PowerColor Hellhound Spectral White RX 9070 XT GPU
Impressive cooling
This graphics card features a triple-fan design for maximum cooling. The fans each have nine blades and sit on high-quality Japanese Dual Ball Bearings, designed to reduce friction, noise, and increase lifespan. As with most high-end cards, these fans can also completely stop when the temperature drops below 50°C, allowing for silent operation for lighter loads. It also features a GPU Direct-contact copper plate that can whisk heat away quickly from the GPU, and there’s also phase-change material to further enhance heat transfer. On top of that, you’ve got a reinforced metal backplate for more structural strength and a 10-layer high thermal conductivity PCB with 2oz power layer, which adds another level of cooling efficiency, effectively distributing heat and enhancing stability.
16GB of VRAM and RDNA 4 architecture
This card is built on RDNA 4 architecture, which boasts some solid improvements on RDNA 3 when it comes to ray tracing and AI performance, and also features FSR 4 to boost framerates and provide an overall smoother gaming experience. This card also has 16GB of VRAM, which is the older GDDR6 version. This allows for the card to handle higher resolutions and textures, and more complex creative workloads.
Gaming performance
The RX 9060 XT 16GB should be able to easily deliver well over 100fps at 1080p and hit around 60fps at 1440p with most modern games, with a few adjustments and tweaks to settings. It can come up short against the likes of some of the more advanced 50-series cards from Nvidia when it comes to ray tracing performance, but considering the price point, its performance is excellent.

Alternatives to consider
The obvious alternative would be the RTX 5060 Ti 16GB, which has an MSRP of $429. It’s slightly more expensive, but it has the advantage of being built on Nvidia Blackwell architecture, so it basically has the edge when it comes to performance across the board. You’ve got newer GDDR7 VRAM, 5th-gen Tensor Cores, and features like MFG, which make it a solid option for both gaming, more demanding creative workflows, and AI-accelerated tasks.
