What we think of this Acer Predator Helios Neo 16″ gaming laptop
This laptop packs an RTX 5070 Ti mobile, which is a great laptop GPU for 1440p gaming, handling moderately demanding creative workloads, and AI-assisted tasks. It should be able to handle most modern games at high settings easily, and even more so when you utilize some of the 50-series new features, such as DLSS 4 and multi-frame generation to boost performance further.
The Acer Predator Helio Neo also impresses with its high-end CPU, an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX. This CPU’s hefty core and thread count, combined with its large 36MB L3 cache and 5.4GHz boost clock speed, make it excellent for gaming and multitasking. It also comes with a dedicated NPU with up to 13 TOPS.
Its screen is also top tier, boasting high-resolution WQXGA, which is essentially taller QHD, with an impressive 240Hz refresh rate and 100% DCI-P3 color. On top of that, it has a brightness of 500 nits, allowing for both an excellent contrast ratio and clear viewing even in bright environments.
