Powerful Skytech King 95 PC with RTX 5080 and Ryzen 7 9850X3D drops to a competitive price point at Newegg
Table of Contents
This Skytech King 95 gaming PC has a hefty $400 discount at Newegg right now, dropping it from $3,299.99 to $2,899.99. Now that’s a seriously compelling price point for a PC of this quality, which packs an RTX 5080, Ryzen 7 9850X3D, 32GB of DDR5, and very robust cooling.
With the RTX 5080, you’re getting a powerhouse graphics card primarily for 4K gaming and ray tracing. Built on the latest Blackwell architecture, it features 16GB of faster GDDR7 VRAM, 5th-gen tensor cores, and 4th-gen ray tracing cores. The CPU here is very interesting, as it’s arguably one of the best gaming CPUs on the market right now. The Ryzen 7 9850X3D one-ups the popular Ryzen 7 9800X3D with a slightly higher 5.6GHz boost clock speed. It still packs the massive 96MB L3 cache, 8 cores, and 16 threads, however. This CPU is an absolute beast for gaming, and thanks to its 3D V-Cache technology, it’s ideal for high refresh rate gaming with super low frame latency.
Skytech Gaming King 95 Gaming PC, NVIDIA RTX 5080 16GB VRAM
While pretty standard for an RTX 5080 build, having 32GB of DDR5 is going to ensure that even very asset-heavy games play smoothly with minimal micro-stuttering. It primes this build to handle more demanding future releases, too. Storage is a little lacklustre at 1TB, but with a bit of organisation, it should suffice for a relatively large game collection. What really stands out, though, is this PC’s cooling architecture. You’ve got a powerful 360mm AIO cooler, which is more than enough for the Ryzen 7 9850X3D, and a very roomy Montech King 95 PC case designed for optimal airflow with ARGB fans. For this type of configuration, coupled with its 850W PSU, it’s everything you need to ensure stable performance, even under heavy and sustained loads.

Who is this gaming PC for?
This PC is very much designed with gaming in mind and is a powerhouse for 4K gaming in particular. While its workstation and multitasking capabilities are strong, an Intel Core Ultra 7 270K Plus would be a bit better if you’re looking for a more balanced option for hybrid gaming and productivity usage. But for all-out gaming performance, this build makes a lot of sense for the price.
How good is this deal?
At under $2,900, it’s competitively priced for sure. The smaller 1TB SSD helps in this regard, but even with this configuration, I’d value it closer to the $3,100 mark. It’s genuinely a good deal, and well worth considering.
- Powerhouse for 4K gaming and ray tracing
- It has one of the best gaming CPUs on the market
- Roomy PC case with outstanding cooling
- Stylish white-themed design with ARGB lighting
- AM5 platform makes it more future-facing
- Intel Core Ultra CPUs have much higher core counts, making them better for creative workloads
- Its small 1TB SSD is not ideal for large game collections
- Ryzen 7 9800X3D models could be cheaper and pack pretty similar performance
