If you’re on the hunt for an RTX 5090 PC this month, but want to save some cash in the process, then this could be a great deal for you. We’ve spotted this exceptional HP OMEN RTX 5090 gaming PC for 38% off its list price, reduced to $3,699.00, which is its lowest price since around mid-November. It’s worth noting that the discount appears to be closer to $300 based on price-tracking data, with the same data showing that this PC hasn’t been at ‘list price’ since practically October. That being said, grabbing an RTX 5090 PC for under $3,700 is still a big win, especially when it boasts Intel’s top Ultra series CPU, 64GB of RAM, a large 2TB SSD, and a patented cooling system.

Key features of this HP OMEN 45L gaming PC

Intel Core Ultra 9 285K processor

The top dog in the Intel Core Ultra series and a powerhouse for gaming, productivity, and multitasking. It features 24 cores, 24 threads, a boost clock speed of 5.7Ghz, and a large 36MB L3 cache, plus a dedicated NPU with 13 TOPS for AI-accelerated workflows. It’s especially good for tasks like video editing and 3D rendering, and pairs well with graphics cards like the RTX 5090, which are extremely well-suited to complex and demanding creative workflows. Read our full review here.

RTX 5090 graphics card

The best graphics card on the market, the RTX 5090, is an absolute beast for 4K gaming and very demanding non-gaming tasks. It has a massive 32GB of GDDR7 VRAM, which is double that of the RTX 5080, making it exceptional at handling higher resolutions, textures, ray tracing, path tracing, and more. It’s built on Nvidia’s new Blackwell architecture, which means you’ve got the latest 4th-gen ray tracing cores, 5th-gen tensor cores, and features like DLSS4 and MFG, which can push perceived frame rates even higher. Read one of our RTX 5090 reviews for a more in-depth look at gaming performance, but in short, it can easily get over 100fps at 4K with most games with no problem.

64GB of RAM and 2TB SSD

This amount of DDR5 RAM is overkill for most, but it suits this enthusiast-level build very well. 64GB will give you enough headroom for future beefy system requirements, allow you to play open-world or heavily modded games with no issues, and be more than enough to run even the most intensive creative and editing applications with ease. Its 2TB SSD is also a great size for most people, allowing you ample room for both games and larger media files.

Unique cooling system

This PC has a patented cooling system named OMEN Cryo Chamber. It essentially positions the liquid CPU cooler at the top of the PC, allowing it to pull in cold air far more easily. It’s an ingenious approach, and seriously effective, too.

Things to consider

The one thing to consider here is whether the CPU is the best suited for your needs. Basically, gaming performance is good, but most people tend to lean towards the Ryzen 7 9800X3D instead, as it has a much higher L3 cache and is designed to significantly reduce frame latency and facilitate smoother gaming performance. The trade-off, though, is that it has a lower core and thread count and doesn’t have a dedicated NPU. For an all-rounder, this Intel processor is a good option, but for all-out gaming performance, the Ryzen 7 9800X3D takes the win.
