Considering this is a premium build, with an RTX 5070 12GB, a powerful 14th Gen Intel CPU, 32GB of DDR5 RAM, and a high-speed SSD, we think it’s a great deal. And it also happens to be at its lowest price ever, too.
Corsair Vengeance i7500 Gaming PC – RTX 5070 GPU
What we like about this Corsair Vengeance i7500 gaming PC
Powerful Intel 14th Gen processor
What you’ve got here is the very impressive Intel Core i7-14700KF, which is basically the middle of the pack in the 14th Gen lineup. Unlike the X3D processors that tend to be paired with gaming PC with top 50-series GPUs, this processor has a much higher core and thread count (20 + 28), which makes it excellent for heavy multitasking, creative tasks, and productivity workflows. That being said, it also boasts impressive single-core and gaming performance, thanks to its high boost clock speed of 5.5GHz and relatively large 33MB L3 cache. Of course, for even better gaming performance, an X3D model would be good, but considering the RTX 5070 is a mid-tier card for 1440p, we think this processor is a great choice, which is also versatile if you’re a content creator or streamer, too.
Brilliant card for 1440p gaming, and a touch of 4K
The RTX 5070 is bang in the middle of Nvidia’s 50-series offerings, and a good, value-conscious option to go for if you’re after something for 1440p, primarily, and a touch of 4K given the right settings. This card is built on Nvidia’s Blackwell architecture, which means you’re getting improved AI capabilities, more advanced GDDR7 memory, and overall better efficiency when compared to the previous generation. It features 6144 CUDA cores, 12GB of GDDR7 memory, a 192-bit bus, and 2512 MHz boost clock. Overall, we found this card performed very well at 1440p at ultra settings, hitting triple-digit fps in many cases, but as expected, it tends to struggle a little when you start going up to 4K and adding ray tracing into the mix. That being said, for 1440p, it’s a real winner for the price, especially when you use DLSS and MFG.
Small, but fast NVMe SSD
You’ve got a ‘high-speed’ Corsair NVMe SSD in this build, which somewhat makes up for the fact that it’s only 1TB in size. High-speed NVMe SSDs are great for gaming, as they boast impressive read and write times that can help speed up loading and boot times in games. This is especially visable when you’re entering in-game cutscenes, for example, and can really help keep your gaming experience feeling smooth.
Corsair components
One of the big things about these types of gaming PCs is the fact that they’re filled to the brim with Corsair’s own products, many of which are well known for their excellent performance, aesthetics, and build quality. You’ve got a Corsair Natutilus RS aRGB liquid CPU cooler, a mid-tower Corsair PC case with excellent cable management and side, rear, and roof fans for optimal airflow, plus six RS120 ARGB Fans with AirGuide technology for concentrated airflow.
How will this PC perform?
Using our ASUS TUF RTX 5070 review, we can get an idea of how this PC will perform. We’ll share our 1440p and 4K benchmarks to illustrate our point on it being a much better choice for the former, due to its VRAM limitations. With Cyberpunk 2077, we saw it get 108fps at 1440p, 45fps with ray tracing, and 48fps at 4K, 21fps with ray tracing. With Doom Eternal, we saw it get 316fps at 1440p, 212fps with ray tracing, 212fps with ray tracing, and 186fps at 4K, 127fps with ray tracing. For Indiana Jones: The Great Circle, it managed 152fps at 1440p and 89fps at 4K.

Who’s this deal for?
Coming in at its lowest price on Amazon ever, we think this PC is ideal for someone who wants a premium quality build with super high-end components from Corsair, and something that will be outstanding for 1440p gaming. It’s also not a bad option for hybrid users, thanks to its impressive Intel CPU, and it’s got enough RAM and a fast enough SSD to enhance productivity and creative workflows, too. At this price, it is more expensive than many other RTX 5070 PCs you could come across. In fact, we recently found one for around $1300, but it featured a very low-end Ryzen CPU, relatively speaking. If you’ve got the budget and want the top-level RTX 5070 gaming PCs you can buy, then this is a great shout.
