ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce RTX â„¢ 5060 Ti 16GB GDDR7 OC Edition

Gaming Graphics Card (PCIe® 5.0, HDMI®/DP 2.1, 3.1-Slot, Military-Grade Components, Protective PCB Coating, axial-tech Fans)

Key features of this ASUS TUF RTX 5060 Ti 16GB OC Edition graphics card

Nvidia Blackwell architecture & 16GB of RAM

First off, this card is built on Nvidia’s new Blackwell architecture, which boasts some significant improvements unique to the 50-series. You’ve essentially got the latest and most advanced version of several key components, including 4th-gen ray tracing cores, 5th-gen tensor cores, and new GDDR7 VRAM, which is much faster than GDDR6. On top of that, you’ve got new upscaling technology, like DLSS4 with MFG, which can insert up to three frames between two, for high perceived framerates.

Cooling system

This card ops for Axial-tech fans, which have longer blades and a barrier ring that increases downward air pressure. They spin counter-clockwise to each other, which is a common feature in the best graphics cards designed to reduce air turbulence, and they can completely switch off when temperatures drop below 50°C, allowing for silent operation for light usage. Additionally, it features a MaxContact-designed heatspreader, which effectively increases its surface area and facilitates improved cooling. The exoskeleton itself is also vented for enhanced heat dissipation.

Overclocked performance

Out of the box, this graphics card is overclocked to 2692 MHz, which allows you to squeeze out some extra performance without any manual tuning. However, you can of course use ASUS GPU Tweak III to push this card further if you wish, and its reinforced, durable build, combined with its effective cooling, is primed for this.

Durable build quality

The ASUS TUF gaming lineup is characterized by its military-grade materials and rugged-looking aesthetic. This card features a protective PCB coating to help protect its circuit board from dust and debris, an aluminium backplate for structural rigidity and support, and, as mentioned, military-grade components designed to last.

Things to consider

This would be our pick for most people looking for an RTX 5060 TI 16GB, especially from a price-to-performance perspective; however, there are plenty of other affordable options you can go for if having 16GB of VRAM is your number one priority. The RX 9060 XT 16GB is a very strong alternative to this card, and offers exceptional value for 1080p and 1440p gaming. The only trade-off is that the VRAM itself is slower GDDR6, and we’d give the edge to Blackwell Architecture over AMD’s RDNA 4 for non-gaming tasks, like AI-accelerated workflows, and machine learning.
