Table of Contents
I’ve spotted a powerful gaming PC from the folks at Skytech going for $250 less on Amazon right now. Originally priced at $3,899.99, you can now grab this for $3,649.99, which is not bad considering this has an RTX 5080 graphics card and one of the best AMD processors, the Ryzen 9 9950X3D.
You can jump straight to the deal, or stick around to learn more about why this particular PC stands out from the crowd.

Here’s what you need to know about this PC
First off, Skytech is a very popular and well-known gaming PC manufacturer based in the US. It offers both custom and pre-built gaming PCs, and appeals to people who want performance, but are still conscious of budget.
This PC does tip the scales when it comes to price, but when you see what you’re getting, it’s easy to see why.
First off, you’ve got an RTX 5080 GPU. This is one of the most powerful graphics cards out right now. It’s capable of up to 4K gaming at high fps, and as we noted in our review of the Founder’s Edition, it comes alive with DLSS. An excellent option for both fast-paced and more cinematic, graphically intensive titles.
The Ryzen 9 9950X3D boasts 16 cores, 32 threads, a boost clock of up to 5.7 GHz, a massive 128 MB L3 cache, and a TDP of 170W. It’s one of the top processors AMD has to offer and makes short work of both gaming, intensive workloads, and multi-tasking. This makes it a versatile pick for most people, and one that won’t be becoming dated any time soon. You can see our review roundup of this processor here for more insight.
On top of that, you’ve got a substantial 64GB of DDR5 RAM to keep this system functioning and responsive, alongside a hefty 2TB NVMe Gen 4 SSD. That’s more than enough storage for most people, especially considering a AAA title comes in between 100 – 150GB.
This system is cooled by high-spec liquid coolers, and the PC case itself is designed for optimal airflow, all the while delivering on aesthetics. I’m a particular fan its design, which gives you a clear window to see the PCs components, and allow for some of the RGB lighting to shine out.
Is this deal for you?
Considering this is a pre-built PC, which are always a bit more expensive, it’s actually a pretty good deal. Finding an RTX 5080 at MSRP is still quite a challenge, as is getting this flagship processor for less. When you factor in that, and the time it could take to build the PC itself, this ‘plug and play’ option becomes even more appealing.
I’d suggest that if you are getting this PC, or considering building an RTX 5080 system yourself, it’s worth going for a good monitor. Ideally, this should be a 4K, 144hz or 4K, 240hz display. Below you’ll find some helpful guides if you’re exploring your options.
