We’ve spotted another fantastic Skytech gaming PC with a huge Prime Day discount that we think is well worth shouting about. Right now, this RTX 5080 model is going for a whopping $530 off, bringing its price down from $3,499.99 to $2,969.99. Now, that may sound a little expensive for an RTX 5080 prebuild, but this particular PC happens to house one of the best Intel processors you can buy, the Intel Core Ultra 9 285K, and a whopping 64GB of RAM. Sure, this is a great PC for 4K gaming, but it’s also exceptional for power users or professional content creators. For the price, we think it’s a real winner.

What we like about this Skytech Gaming Legacy 4 gaming PC

Excellent graphics card for 1440p and 4K gaming

The RTX 5080 is one of the best cards you can get and delivers serious performance at max settings for both QHD and 4K. Thanks to its Blackwell architecture, it also leverages AI upscaling technology like DLSS 4 and MFG, which can push framerates higher at higher resolutions, even with ray tracing enabled. We reviewed an RTX 5080 FE, which we can use to give you an idea of what to expect in terms of performance. Cyberpunk 2077 is always a good benchmark to use, as it’s a demanding title, especially with ray tracing. At ultra settings, pure rasterization, the RTX 5080 was able to get 151fps/ 1440p, 68fps/ 1440p with RT, and 72fps/ 4K, 35fps/4K with RT. When we throw DLSS and MFG in the mix, we see performance significantly increase. For example, with DLSS performance and MFG 4x, the 5080 could get 183fps at 4K with ray tracing. A truly remarkable graphics card if you ask us.

Top-tier, versatile Intel processor

This build has the impressive Intel Core Ultra 9 285K, which is one of the best and most well-rounded processors you can get right now. It has a much higher core and thread count than the Ryzen 7 9800X3D, coming in at 24 and 24, and even a higher boost clock speed of 5.7GHz, too. Where it falls behind is its L3 cache, which is 36MB. That’s still large enough to help with reducing frame latency while gaming, but it’s not as good as the massive 96MB+ L3 caches of most of the X3D models. That being said, this processor is excellent for gaming, multitasking, and productivity; even more so thanks to its dedicated NPU.

Loads of high-speed RAM

What’s great to see here is that this build goes for a huge 64GB of DDR5 RAM, which is going to be great if you’re planning on playing very heavily modded games or other titles with massive asset libraries. It’s also great for those who need something for video editing or 3D rendering, and can help optimize your workflows significantly. Sure, it may be overkill for most people, but it’s also good if you want a bit of a buffer for the future to make sure you’ve got enough RAM to accommodate incredibly demanding releases later down the line.

Who’s this deal for?

If you’re a serious gamer looking for something that can handle demanding titles in 4K with ease, or you’re a content creator working with heavy-duty applications, then this is the PC for you. Coming in at $2,969.99, it’s still on the more expensive side for an RTX 5080 PC, but that’s largely because it packs such a high-end processor alongside having 64GB of DDR5 RAM and a large 2TB SSD. You can get cheaper if you opt for a lower-end processor, such as one of the Ryzen 9 ‘X’ variants that we occasionally see paired with an RTX 5080 in other builds. But if you’re a power user and plan on using this for both gaming and content creation, then this is a great way to go.
