Prime Day has started, and we’re seeing some great discounts on a number of PC components and other devices. However, if you want to avoid the hassle of selecting components, checking for compatibility, and then assembling them, a prebuilt gaming PC is an excellent workaround.

Choosing this option is also valid if you can’t find a single component; however, it’ll obviously cost you more, so it isn’t the best approach. That being said, we spotted this CyberpowerPC gaming PC with a 15% discount, dropping its price from $1,979.99 to $1,679.99, saving you $300 in the process.

Why we liked this gaming PC

RTX 5070

The RTX 5070 is a mid-range GPU with 12GB GDDR7 VRAM. We’ve reviewed the MSI Gaming Trio RTX 5070 OC and the ASUS TUF RTX 5070 OC, and they had more or less the same performance. While it isn’t clear which RTX 5070 will be included in this prebuilt, we’ll showcase our findings to give you an idea of what you can expect, but keep in mind that both GPUs we tested were overclocked, and to get the same performance, you might have to tweak some settings too.

In Cyberpunk 2077, these cards delivered 167 and 169 FPS at 1080p, 107 and 108 FPS at 1440p, and 48 FPS at 4K. However, with ray tracing turned to overdrive and leveraging DLSS 4 and MFG, the FPS jumped from 9 and 1 to 121 and 120 FPS. So, using these technologies will get you better FPS even if 4K native framerates aren’t that great.

Intel Core i9-14900KF

While we haven’t reviewed the 14900KF, we did put the 14900K through its paces, and the only difference between these processors is that the “KF” doesn’t have integrated graphics. So, we can use the 14900K as a reference. Being paired with the RTX 4070 Ti, we got 336 in CS2 at 1080p high settings and 219 FPS in Cyberpunk 2077 at 1080p low settings. That means the processor was able to easily keep up with the GPU, and you should be able to achieve better figures with the RTX 5070.

Deals season is here folks, and with it comes a plethora of eye-catching price cuts on some of the industry's most popular tech. Below are some of the best deals you can find right now.

Great storage and memory

This gaming PC comes with a 2TB SSD, which should be more than enough to store various games and applications. However, what is even better is that the motherboard has four RAM slots and comes with 32GB of DDR5 RAM running at 6,000 MHz. This is the sweet spot for many, as there is space for future upgrades, but in the present, it is enough for gaming and productivity.

Comes with peripherals

A great aspect of this gaming PC is that it comes with a gaming mouse and keyboard. While they aren’t high-end options, they should be enough to get you started and will save you the cost of purchasing them separately. So, the only thing left is to get a monitor, which you can check out during the Prime Day sales, as we’ve seen plenty of great monitors go on sale.

Should you get this gaming PC?

If you want to shift from console to gaming PC or were just looking to get a new setup, this deal is an excellent one to consider, as it has everything all set, and all you’ll need to do is install the games you want to play and get started. There is also the option of upgrading individual components, such as the GPU or CPU, later down the road if you see a good deal, but keep in mind that upgrading the CPU will also require you to upgrade the GPU.
