More powerful gaming desktop deals are rolling in on Amazon, and we’ve spotted a great offer on one of Lenovo’s finest on Amazon.
The Lenovo Legion line is aimed at those looking for some of the top-end components and for top-tier performance. You’ll find the same theme running through its gaming laptops also, many of which can easily handle anything thrown at them. This Lenovo Legion gaming PC is very much in-line with this, and has a powerful RTX 4080 graphics card, 14th Gen Intel processor and more to make it an excellent option for 4K gaming and heavy duty work tasks, such as video-editing.
Right now it’s down from $3,129.99 to $2,899.07, which saves you just over $230 – an ideal amount to put towards a good 4K gaming monitor.
Here’s everything you need to know about this gaming PC, and who we think it would be ideal for.

What you need to know about this gaming PC
- Powerful GPU: The RTX 4080 is still one of the best graphics cards on the market. It boasts 16GB of VRAM and performs very well when it comes to 4K gaming and rendering. In our review, we noted that with most of the top-tier titles, the card could natively deliver 4K 60fps with ray-tracing, but of course it depends on the game. Overall, it’s a quality card that’ll deliver on all fronts.
- Intel Core i9-14900KF: The 14th Gen intel processors were unfortunately marred by some stability issues, but it doesn’t stop them being some of the best around. This CPU boasts 24 cores (16 P-cores and 8 E-cores), 32 threads, a 36MB cache, and massive Max Turbo Frequency of 6 GHz. That’s one of the highest you’ll find, and makes this CPU great for gaming at demanding settings.
- Ample storage: This gaming PC has what I’d say is the sweet spot for storage. It features a 2TB SSD which is more than enough for most large gaming libraries, but it’s also small enough that it keeps the price of this machine down. I personally think anything over 2TB can be overkill, and almost always drives the price up by a few hundred dollars too.
- Sweet spot with RAM: This features 32GB of DDR5 RAM, which again, is bang on for what most people need. At this size, it keeps the costs down, but also gives you more than enough to handle multiple applications at once, and keep your system running smoothly.
- Tasteful design: Lenovo Legion is a little like HP OMEN in some ways, as they both tend to lean more towards understated designs as opposed to some of the more RGB heavy options from other brands. While this does have some RGB, and a side window to see the components, this gaming PC wouldn’t look out of place in a working environment or productivity setup.
Is this PC for you?
This gaming PC is solid option if you’re using it for 4K gaming, but want to keep costs down. For the new price, you’re actually getting a lot for your money here. The CPU is especially impressive, for both gaming and multi-tasking, making this a good option for those who plan on using it for tasks that require a punchier system, such as rendering or video-editing.
Generally speaking, if you’re more into 1440p gaming, I’d say you’re better off looking at the RTX 4070 models instead, as these excel in that space and are notably cheaper. So if you’re not planning on gaming in 4K, or perhaps you don’t yet have a 4K monitor, this wouldn’t be the best option for you.
But overall, as far as gaming PCs go, this is an excellent option to consider.
