What we like about the Alienware 34-inch curved gaming monitor

So this is on of Alienware’s more entry-level monitors based on the price and specs, but it looks like it gives you everything you could need for 1440p gaming on a mid-tier PC build and above. It’s got a high refresh rate, decent brightness and contrast, a subtle, but immersive curve, and small footprint to maximize desk space.

Good brightness and contrast: This has 400 nits of brightness and a 3000:1 contrast ratio, which is pretty good for the price-point.
High refresh rate and adaptive sync: You’ve got 180hz here, plus AMD Freesync Premium to help reduce screen tearing.
Subtle curve: The higher the number, the less aggressive the curve. This is 1500R, making it ideal for both gaming and other uses, like streaming and productivity.
DCI-P3 95% and DisplayHDR 400: Both very good indicators that the color, brightness, and contrast on this monitor are up there with some of the best. Again, for the price for this size of monitor, that’s a win.
Ideal resolution for mid-tier PCs: If you’ve got a gaming PC that’s great for 1440p, then this monitor is a great shout.

I think it’s possible to find comparable monitors on the market for around the same price-point, but when it comes to Alienware a lot of it comes down to its signature style and aesthetics. These monitor are very unique in how they look, and they seriously elevate a gaming or productivity setup.
