What we liked about the Thunderobot Storm 15 gaming laptop
This gaming laptop isn’t the most powerful on the market, but given the price tag, it is a decent offering. The processor it has, the Intel Core i7-13620H, should output good performance with its 10 cores and 16 threads. It boasts clock speeds of 4.9GHz and a base TDP of 45W. What these specifications mean is that it should provide a smooth operating experience for a number of tasks.
Whether that is gaming, working, streaming, or any other workflow. That being said, it will have its limitations and won’t be the best option for extreme multitasking. Paired with this is the RTX 4050, which is an entry-level GPU with third-gen cores and architecture from NVIDIA.
It is perfect only for 1080p gaming, as pushing it beyond that would be asking too much of it. However, you can leverage DLSS 4 for a better gaming experience. This is a good decision given the FHD display of this gaming laptop, as with the RTX 4050, you should be able to have consistent and comfortable gameplay.

What we really liked about this gaming laptop is the upgradability. It comes with 32GB RAM and a 1TB SSD, but it can support up to 64GB RAM and 4TB SSD, meaning that you won’t have to worry about the efficiency or performance taking a hit. The display also offers 100% sRGB coverage, making it good for designing and content creation.
Is this a good deal?
The hardware in this gaming laptop isn’t the latest, but it sports a good design, decent specifications, and is very stylish. For the price tag, we think it is worth considering, but keep in mind the age of the CPU and GPU. That being said, it should easily sail you through everyday tasks without any issues, but expecting it to handle server-level tasks and 4K gaming would be good, as it isn’t built for that.
