RTX 5060 Ti, Ryzen 7 8700F gaming PC plummets to its best price, perfect for budget buyers
Table of Contents
We came across the ViprTech Reaper 2.0 gaming PC on Amazon with an 8% price cut that dropped it to its lowest price ever. The original price tag was $1,249.99, but with this offer, it is on sale for $1,149.99. What makes it even better is that Black Friday gaming PC deals haven’t gone live, so there is a chance that it might receive a deeper discount.
However, even right now, this is a good price tag, as it comes with the RTX 5060 Ti (16GB) and the Ryzen 7 8700F, which is a solid mid-range/budget pairing. You should be able to easily play games at 1440p and handle other workflows with ease with this prebuilt PC.
ViprTech Reaper 2.0
- It has a reasonable price tag
- Great gaming performance with the RTX 5060 Ti
- The 8700F a decent mid-range processor
- This build isn’t meant for server-level tasks
- The RTX 5060 Ti can’t handle native 4K gaming
- There is only 16GB of RAM
Why we liked the ViprTech Reaper 2.0 gaming PC
This gaming PC costs a little over $1,000, and for the price, we think it has good hardware. The Ryzen 7 8700F has eight hyperthreaded cores at its disposal, meaning there are 16 threads to handle the load and deliver good multitasking performance. Besides that, it is very energy efficient, with a 65W TDP, so you won’t have to worry about overheating; even a budget CPU cooler should be able to keep it cool.
It should also be able to easily keep up with the RTX 5060 Ti when it comes to 1080p and 1440p gaming, since that is where this graphics card truly shines. We’ve tested and reviewed the ASUS Prime RTX 5060 Ti OC, and this card delivered solid gaming performance.
In Cyberpunk 2077, we got 123 FPS at 1080p, 78 FPS at 1440p, and 34 FPS at 4K at ultra settings with this card. In less graphically demanding titles like AC Mirage, the output was better with 121, 92, and 58 FPS, in the same three resolutions. So, for a decent output at 4K, you’ll definitely need to leverage the AI upscaling technologies.

When it comes to efficiency and multitasking, it has 16GB to handle that and a 1TB SSD for fast load and boot times. It also has WiFi capabilities and comes with Windows 11 pre-installed, which is great since the support for Windows 10 has ended.
Is this deal worth it?
Considering the price, we think this deal is worth it and a good option for those operating on a budget. That being said, we’d recommend checking out other offerings as well because the closer we get to Black Friday, the better and more discounted options we will see. This gaming PC should have great performance, but the system memory and storage could’ve been better in our opinion.
That being said, if you don’t have tasks that require a lot of RAM, then you should be set with this machine because for gaming, it is a good option.
